"Get up its time for school Ley!" My mom screamed at me.

Ugh Its the first day of the school and I missed my friends. I sat up and looked at me checking if I had any texts messages.

I had one from Cash and Lee telling me that their coming to get me this morning and to get the fuck up.

I rolled my eyes and got up walking to the bathroom to get ready. I hopped in the shower and washed up then got out. I put on my favorite perfume and its smelled so nice. I fixed my hair and brushed my teeth. I made sure I looked good but for only me.

I walked out the bathroom and grabbed my phone, My backpack, jacket, And my hat.

I cut my lights off and walked into the living room where my mom was doing my younger sister hair. She pointed to my dad who was sitting in the kitchen by himself.

I walked in and sat down in front of him. I looked just like him.

"Leyda This is a new school year and I don't want a repeat of last year with your ex okay," He said.

"I won't let her bother me daddy; She won't be coming back in my life I'm staying single so I can focus on being a music major," I said to him and his dark eyes stared into mine.

He was seeing if I was being sincere because I always let her come back but this time I won't. She put me through hell and I was mentally abused. The half of the summer and school year I was weak. I promised myself to never be that ever again.

He gave me dap and I heard a Cash beep her horn.

"Bye mama and daddy," I said and blew a kiss to my younger sister.

I walked out the door to see Lee tryna to spit game to my next door neighbor.

"Aye Lee stop bothering my neighbor and Good morning Mrs. Alexia," I said then smirked at Lee when her face fell.

I got in the backseat and Lee gave me a stink face.

"Why you always doing that shit Ley?" She said while Cash pulled off.

"Shut the fuck up Lee she don't want your ass anyway; She gotta a whole women," Cash said stopping at the stop sign.

Lee smacked her teeth and Didn't say nothing else.

"Aye Ley You know Reign?" Cash said then Lee got excited asf.

"Who?" I said like they know I don't know everybody and why is Reign so important.

"Bitch Reign is the number 1 star player in the city and shes coming to our school," Lee said.

"Like I'm supposed to know who that is Lee; I don't like sports dumbass," I said

"Whatever," Lee said rolling her eyes.

We pulled up infront of the school and everybody was standing outside talking to their friends and shit. Like I'm worried about getting my ass inside the school.

I got out the car with Lee and cash. We started to watch to the doors when I seen my ex Kain kissing her girlfriend. I rolled my eyes in digust.

Them nasty fucker basically fucking outside. Yucky assholes!

I opened the door and Went to my home room which I didn't have with Cash or Lee. So I felt awkward asf.

I sat down in farthest seat in the back and started to bopping to my music. I could drown myself in music if I had the chance.

The door opened and my ex came in and sat in the second row infront of me. Stupid bitch.

Then walked this student I never seen before and she had her earphones in. She came to the same row as me and sat next to me.

"Reign," The teacher called her name.

Oh this is Reign. Oh shit she is really cute but i know she's not gonna be for me.

I was getting tired of the teacher calling her name. I pulled her earphone out.she jumped a little then looked at me like what the fuck.

"The teacher is calling you," I said then went back to paying attention to my phone.

She got up and went to talk to the teacher and I watched her walk up there then someone cleared the throat and I looked at the person.

It was Kain. This bitch was smirking. So I gave her the middle finger and Looked back up to Reign and The teacher. Her eyes were on me the whole time.

She was making me uncomfortable. Like is it something on my face or something? I looked away then the announcements started and I put my phone away.

She was back beside me and She tapped my shoulder.

"What?" I said looking at her. Her face looked soft asf and her lips was full.

"Well I'm Reign, What's your name?" Reign said.

"None of ya business," I said back to the teacher.

My mean ass.

"But it's Leyda," I said back to her with a little giggle.

Her face was hilarious.

She started to laugh with me alil and I didn't know that laugh was gonna change me forever.
