It's the first time she sees Arq with the unfamiliar fury in her favorite pair of her bluish-violet eyes. Someone who had no right to hurt her did so badly, and Arq doesn't want to let it go. However, taking action on her own is the scariest thing to do.

Will she just let Arq get into trouble? She genuinely appreciates that Arq can protect her in any circumstance. But isn't it selfish of her to allow things to continue this way? Her feelings have deepened, and letting Arq do awful actions is like allowing her to ruin their relationship.
