Never once in my life regret to do something badass. But here I am at 2am with Valerie, my best friend since freshman year, about to egg and tp her ex-boyfriend's house.
"Are you sure about this,Val? I mean if he finds out it was us he can press charges or something."
"Don't worry, we won't. Can you hand me the bucket."
"No. You have hands and legs, you can walk over here and grab them." I said. She scoffed. The reason she needs the bucket was because it contains the things we need; 3 cartons of eggs and 4 rolls of toilet paper.
I grabbed the bucket and walked to she was and dropped it. She dumped the bucket and filled it with water.
I knew what she was thinking so I helped. I took 6 squares of toilet paper, balled them up and soaked them in the water. When it was totally soaked I threw it on the asshole's house.
We began to repeat it until we ran out of toilet paper. We walked over to his red Ferrari and starting to egg it. I don't know how but thank god the alarm didn't go off. When we finished, we stood back to admire the work we have done.
"We did an amazing job on this. Don't you think so my dear?" Valerie turned and smirked at me.
"Why, of course." Then, a light flickered on somewhere in the house and we dashed for it, not wanting to find out what happens.
We ran to my Dodge Charger SRT-8. Once we got in I turned it on and stepped on the gas making a screeching noise.
It was a 5 minute drive to my house. "That was so fun! And you said you don't want to do it." I laughed at her comment.
"Alright, let's go inside before my mom asks us why we're in my car." My mom knows I'm doing crazy shit like this so she's not surprise why I'm back around 3am.
We walked through the door and sat on the couch. It was a Saturday so thank god. My mom is a principal at my school, RiverHill High School. I went to the table besides the couch when I saw the phone thingy flashing the nunber 1, meaning a voicemail.
I paid no attention to it. It was probably from my mom saying to keep up my grades. Ha moms. You gotta love them.
"What do you want to watch?"
"I'm in the mood for a horror movie." Honestly yes.
"Lights Out or Ouija: Origin of Evil?" We both love those two movies so much but we always couldn't decide which one it would be to watch.
"The second option." I said. We'll probably going to regret it in the morning or in a few hours.
"Alright, pop the disc in the player while I'm going to make snacks." I told her. She nodded her head in response.
I popped popcorn, grabbed chips, candy and soda, walked out of the kitchen and into my room. I plodded the snack onto the floor were she was sitting crisscross.
Before the movie officially started she yelled "Let's do shit!"

"Why did we watch that movie again?" We are currently hugging each other in a blanket fort hoping the little girl won't get us and take our souls.
"I don't know." I heard the door slam downstairs. Holy shit, holy shit she was coming to get us. If only I had a baseball bat, I could bet the living shit-
"Shut up, Brooke!" Was I talking out loud? " Yes you were Brooke."
"Are you sure you're not a mind reader or something?" She gave me a 'are you fucking kidding me'. I just shrugged. I mean that can happen right?
"Girls I'm home!" Thank god it's just mom.
"Brooke! There's someone named Mark on the phone wanting to speak to you!" Mom yelled from downstairs.
I gestured Val to follow me and went to the living room. Mom handed me the phone
"Hello?"
"Hello? I'm calling for Brooke Toretto."
"Yes that's me." I answered anxiously.
"I'm actually calling to tell you that your brother and sister is safe. They have been living under a roof since they disappeared."
I went quiet for a few minutes. "Um, is it okay if I speak to them?" He sighed and it was his turn to be quiet.
"I'm sorry but you can't. They're is a reason and they are currently under a very dangerous situation. I'll make sure to tell them you received the message. Bye." And with that Mark hanged up.
I slowly turned to face Valerie. Tears brimming in my eyes. "Oh honey." Valerie said in a sympathy kind of way ( if that makes any sense ). She came to me and hugged me.
"Everything was a lie. I've been living a life full of lies!" That's when I full blown cried.
"I heard yelling. What's going on?" I turned to see my mom in the doorway that separates the living room and kitchen.
"The guy, Mark, called me to tell me that Dominic and Mia is alive all this time." I told mom. Her eyes went wide and full of worry. Then all of a sudden it clicked.
"You knew didn't you." In a small and soft voice. She was about to speak when I cut her off. "You knew all this time and didn't fucking tell me?! Why?! Huh?!"
"I'm sorry." I scoff in disbelief.
"That's all you got to say? All these years when I asked 'where is Dominic and Mia' and you would answer with 'they're gone' were lies." Mom just nodded.
Wow all these new information was too much for me to process. "That disappoints me so much, coming from you mom." With that I went to my room and grabbed my keys and phone. As I was exiting the house Valerie called me.
"Where are you going?" I looked at her then to mom, who was sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. "Away from her." I answered and left. I sighed out of frustration. I got in the car and put the keys in and turned it on. With that I left, only thing was that they were alive.
Alive.
