Spoilers for YJ season 2 finale and the YJ war on apocalypse issues.
So in the YJ comics there is a story line where the team helps stop the war on apocalypse. (I think anyway, I've only read the Impulse tie-in issue).
But it's a possibility that they could do that for at least a part of season 3, since they mentioned apocalypse in the s2 finale!
