The cold winter air is still as the Peters move into their new home, Jane and Jacob had been planning to move to Ireland ever since their wedding day and fifteen years later here they are dancing around their house, "look lizzy, we have a tv!" Jacob tried to impress their daughter but she missed their home in England and her radio.

Elizabeth grabbed her coat and left without a word, her parents sighed but hadn't expected much more than that anyway. The 10 year old sat in the garden that was coved in a thin layer of snow.

"Poor Lizzy, she didn't want to leave England," Jane worried, "but she didn't have any friends, maybe she'll make some here," Jacob says but he doesn't believe his own words.

Elizabeth had been sitting in the snow for only 5minutes until the girl across the street, Mary, came over with freshly baked cookies. Elizabeth didn't say a word but only listened to the stories being told.
