Once Kuro said his usual phrase, it was my cue to pull away from his body.(that sounded weird...) I realized what I was doing, and immediately my face felt like a burning fire.

"Sorry!!" I put both of my hands up as a sign of surrender. My eyes shut tightly while I waited for him to do something.

I cautiously opened one eye, just to see a light blush on his face. I was happy that he wasn't mad, but he did seem like he cared. Kuro even avoided eye contact, so I knew he had a small part of him that cared.

"..its fine.." Kuro murmured.

I had to fix this awkward atmosphere. It was my fault in the first place.

"..I'm gonna call (f/n) one more time.. maybe I can even show off that I have you here with me?!..oh man! The things she(or he)would say~"I clasped my hands together and started to rub my palms against one another.

He sighed in annoyance.

I rolled my (e/c) eyes at his response."Okay. I'll let you play video games if you do this with me. Alright?"

Kuro's red eyes closed before shrugging his shoulders.

"Alright"

I smiled giddily and grabbed my phone with excitement. My fingers punched in (f/n)'s number. Both me and Kuro listened to the soft ring of my phone, awaiting for my friend to pick up.

She never answered. I remembered how late it was, so she must be asleep. I suppose with all the excitement going on, I had forgotten how late it was. I wasn't even tired.

I pressed the voicemail message. (thingy ma Bob? Idk)If we can't talk to her, than I guess the second option is to leave a message.

Kuro sat me in-between his crossed legs. I spoke into the phone with a smile on my face and on Kuro's face- well...I mean..he didn't look too exited..I think Kuro just wanted to play video games...
