CHAPTER ONE
I had just woke up to the light shining in my face. Even though I wish I could've sleep a couple more hours. I got up and got dressed then I brushed my teeth and went down stairs. As I was on my way down stairs I could smell the sweet smell of butter on pancakes and I could hear the sound of sizzling bacon. When I got down stairs "I told my mom that breakfast smells good" "she told me thanks" As I finished eating my breakfast "I told my mom I was going over to my friends house" "she told me to not stay out to late" Then I walked out the door and grabbed my bike and headed towards my friends house. When I got to my friends house He told he to come up to his room and look at what he found in his back yard. When we got in his room he showed me this book that looked very old and on the top of it read do not open and it had a lock on it. I asked him were he found it at and he told me that he was kicking his ball around when it rolled under is house so he when the under there to get it and there was the book sitting on a shelf under his house. So I told him we should go outside were he found it and look to see if the key was under there.
