It's the end of the day and Samantha and I talk for a while like we normally do. We read the little notes we put in each other's lockers every day and laugh. Eventually we are finally packed up and ready to go home. We say goodbye and walk away in opposite directions like every day after school. She's so fun to talk to and even if she wasn't, she's my best friend, I'd probably tell her everything anyways. I walk by Luke, packing up for the day.
"See ya Thursday" he says.
"See ya tomorrow" I correct him. It always gets on my nerves when someone says the specific day instead of tomorrow, but every single time I try to correct him, he's totally oblivious of it. I can only try, can't I. I walk down the hallway and Leo asks if Luke has left yet.
"He just left his locker. He's heading that way,"I say pointing behind me,"Better hurry."
"Ok, thanks Koca! See ya tomorrow!"
"See ya!"

I walk outside to where my mom always picks me up. The rain is pouring down as if a huge, never ending bucket of water was spilling onto our school. I open my umbrella to prevent me from getting wet, but the wind is pushing the rain and my umbrella in such a way that it's impossible to stay dry. After a few minutes of standing in the rain, my mom arrives to pick me up from school. I'm a little upset to leave, but I know I'll be back tomorrow. Besides, I'm too tired to last another second in school.

As we drive I look out the blurred window to see the abstract world. The sky is gray, but the trees are full of color. It looks like a beautiful sunset with a blurred line of clouds right above it. The roads are really wet, the car next to us just splashed water from a puddle all over the window. I look out the front window to see how the driving is doing. I don't know about you, but I get really stressed about driving in rain, it looks so difficult. I notice the car in front of us swerve a bit as it's wheels kick water onto our window. I can't make out what anything is because of the layer of water covering the window. My heart begins to pound on my chest and suddenly I feel the car slide sideways. I silently squeal in surprise. The car slides off the road and down the hill. I feel as if time suddenly slowed down as the car started to flip, maybe it did. The windows break and the glass cuts me. I try to close my eyes, but fear paralyzes me. Suddenly the air bags shoot out at my face and that's all I remember that happened as we slid off the highway and flipped down the hill.

I open my eyes, I hear no sound. I'm somehow outside of the car. My mom is too, but she's unconscious. I don't see any sign of an ambulance. I don't even hear a siren. Actually, I don't hear anything, but my breath and my heart pounding. I look at the road full of cars. Not a single one is moving. As I look around I notice that for some reason gravity had no affect on the rain drops, they stayed in their place. I must be dreaming, I thought, but I feel a bit of pain in my chest and I begin to cough. There is no way I could be dreaming, I decide, this is beyond imagination. I feel something dripping out of my mouth and I was surprised to find that it wasn't drool, it was blood, but before I even have time to panic, the rain pours down on my once more, the cars start moving again and I can here everything. The sudden sound and movement surprises me and the world begins to fade.
