Ayumi's POV
"Yes,you idiot. Your heart." Akira said holding my chin making me face him.

"Why?" I asked glaring at him.

"Why? To be the strongest of all and to live for eternity. A single drop of your blood can enhance our powers by 30%. Imagine every drop of your blood. Especially your heart,eating it makes us immortal and invincible." He said as his face was only inches away from mine.

"I won't let you eat my heart nor drink my blood." I said pushing him away.

"Then how about a deal?" He said smirking.

"No thanks,I'm going to the infirmary to treat my wounds." I said walking away.

"You say that now but you'll give in. And please do remember, I came here in advance so that when your finally 18...you'll die by my hands." He said as I ignored him and made my way to the infirmary.

"This is completely absurd. I must be sick right now that I'm hallucinating." I said while opening the door to the infirmary.

"Ah,Sakura-san? What happened?" Ayuko-sensei said. Ayuko-sensei is the one in charge of the infirmary.

"Ayuko-sensei,I'm sick to the point that I'm already hallucinating." I said sitting on the bed.

"My,my. Well then you'd better rest. Just sleep there for a while." She said as I slept.

After a while I felt something wet on my cheeks. "Now let me enjoy this." I heard a voice that I've never heard in my entire life.

"Huh...?" I said as I opened my eyes slowly to see......a demon. It had sharp long teeth,long spiky thorns,pale green skin, and white hair.

"It seems you woke up. I was planning to eat you while you were asleep but oh well. At least I can enjoy your screams as I devour your flesh,White Camelia." It said as I noticed that it was wearing a coat the same as Ayuko-sensei.

"A-ayuko-sensei? Y-your a demon?" I said starting to shiver.

"Of course not. That teacher left her coat here as I smelled your blood. So I thought to use my powers to transform like her and eat you up." It said.

"N-no...g-go away..." I said as I was frozen by fear.

"I shall enjoy this,White Camelia. I should thank you for making me strong after eating you." It said.

"No..." I said on the verge of crying. "Someone...anyone...please help me!" I thought closing my eyes.

"Please don't mind me!" The demon said as I suddenly thought about Akira.

"You filthy low-life demon. This girl is my target and I can't let a lowly demon  like you eat my prey. What will the others say back in the nether world that I let a puny weak demon like you eat up my prey?" I heard Akira's voice. I slowly opened my eyes to see that it was really him.

"A-akira-dono?! P-p-please forgive me! I-I had no idea that you were after the White Camelia!" The demon said getting off me.

"Hah? You just said that didn't you? Let's see,am I an idiot not to know that her heart gives immortality and power?!" Akira said grabbing the demon as fire appeared on his other hand.

"I-I'm sorry! I won't do this again!" The demon said.

"Of course you won't...." Akira said.

"So your letting me go?" The demon asked.

"No,you won't be doing this again because I'm going to kill you." Akira said burning the demon using his fox fire.

"Why did this have to happen when all I wanted was to keep my promise to her?" I said as a tear dropped down my cheeks.

"Well then,what is it gonna be? Are going to listen to my deal or not?" Akira said smirking.

"Neither. I'm going home." I said as I left the infirmary.

I arrived at my house to see three men. "Excuse me,are you by chance Ayumi Sakura?" One of them asked.

"It depends on who's asking." I replied.

"So you are Ayumi Sakura. Your father owns us 932,628,283¥." Another one said.

"What the?! How can my father even own you that big?!" I said.

"Let me make this short....turtle racing,loan sharks, and gambling." Yet another one said.

"B-but I don't have any money! Where is he anyway?!" I said.

"He left a note on the door saying that he ran away. You can pay by giving us the house but it's not like you have any other choice though." The man said.

"No way....but I don't have any money nor relatives." I said falling down on my knees.

"How pitiful. Pack your things and find a place where you can stay." The man said.

I gave up. I packed my things and left the house. "Why? Why do bad things happen to me when all I ever wanted was to keep that promise?" I said as tears filled my eyes.

"White Camelia?" I heard Akira's voice. I looked up to see that it was him.

"What do you want?" I said looking away.

"Why are you here? It's already late you know? Did you run away from home?" He asked.

"That's none of your business." I said.

"If you stay out here,demons will come and kill you." He said.

"I don't care anymore..." I said clenching my hands.

"Hah? What exactly happened?" Akira asked.

"I thought I'm just your prey! Why do you keep asking questions?! I lost my house because of my father's debt in gambling! My father ran away! Demons are out to kill me and eat me! I'm being bullied! That's what happening! Are you happy?! All I ever wanted was to keep a promise..." I said starting to cry.

"Whoa! Easy! Don't take it out on me!" Akira said.

"I've had enough. Why can't I just live peacefully? That's all I ever wanted..." I said as I kept on crying.

"Why not come to my house? You can spend the night there." He said.

"Why? Why are you being nice to me?" I asked.

"Your right when you said that your my prey. I have no intention of eating you until your 18 nor do I have any intention of anyone else eat or kill you before I do." He said.

"Thank you but I refuse." I said.
