"Where's Yui-chan? She's late!" Su exclaimed, walking through backstage with Moa in tow, searching for their missing member.

Did Yui get lost trying to find the bathroom? Maybe a problem sprouted, like a wardrobe malfunction, or she got hurt in some way. Su hopes she's not hurt.

Around them, stage crew members were running around frantically, looking for the third member of BABYMETAL. Su wonders how they were able to lose a whole girl under their watch.

"She's not in the bathroom," one said.

"Not in the dressing room," another stated.

"And she isn't in the car," Koba said. He was fuming now, hands on his hips groaning loudly.

"Try calling her phone," Su suggested.

"She left it in the dressing room," Moa said.

Their manager ran a hand through his hair, tapping his foot impatiently. "How did we lose a third of BABYMETAL? This is insane!"

Su sighed softly, face full of worry. Yui was nowhere to be found. How could she disappear that fast? She was about to go check the bathroom a third time when her phone rung.

An unknown number popped up on the screen. Now peeked over her shoulder to see.

"Answer. It might be Yui-chan," Moa said.

Su answered the phone and put it to her ear. "Hello?"

"Suzuka?"

The voice was deep and raspy in her ear, and she frowned. This person didn't sound friendly at all. And Su hoped this guy didn't have her friend.

"Who are you?" She asked in her native language.

"What?" He asked in English.

"I said, who are you?" She replied in his  language.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out. Or not. Which ever works for you."

Su rolled her eyes. "Do you have Yui?"

"So what if I do?"

He was playing games with her. And she didn't like it one bit. If he had her, he should just bring her forward.

"Just give us Yui back, and we won't go to the police," Su shakily said. She was trying to keep her calm, but it was hard when she was talking to this guy.

He chuckled humorlessly. "The police can't do a thing. You'd be better off doing it by yourself. Maybe along with Moa."

Su frowned at the phone. "Where is she? Give Yui back to us!"

By now, a few of the staff and their manager were surrounding them.

"...Come get her."

And then he hung up, leaving Su hopeless.

"Who was that?" Her manager asked.

Su shook her head, looking down at her phone. "I don't know. But he has Yui-chan."

"So, she's not in this building."

"I don't think so," she sadly replied.

He walked away, gripping his hair and swearing.

This was it. They'd have to cancel the rest of this show and the rest of the tour if they don't find Yui soon. But that wasn't all that could happen. Su couldn't help but think that if they couldn't find her soon, there would only be her body left.

Su's stomach was flipped upside down at the thought. No, she can't think about that. Yui was going to be alive when they found her.

Moa wiped the tears and running makeup off her face. "I want Yui-chan back," she sobbed.

It broke Su's heart seeing Moa cry for her best friend, and she gave her a tight hug. "Don't worry, we'll find her, Moa-chan. We'll find her soon."

Moa nodded into her shoulder, but the waterworks still came.

Afterwards, they still had to continue the concert, or else they would've had to give back all the money. To substitute Yui, Moa sung Yui's individual lines as well as hers, and Su sung her part when both Yui and Moa sings/screams at the same time. It didn't feel the same to neither girl, since not even themselves could replace Yui.

•••

Su and Moa were in their hotel room, having taken nice, long baths, and were ready for bed. But neither of them could sleep. Neither did they want to. Yui were on both of their minds, and they just wanted her to be safe.

"Where could she be?" Moa asked, lying on the bed her and Yui share. She was on her back, staring up at the ceiling.

"I don't know," Su sighed, pacing back and forth. "I absolutely do not know."

There was a knock on their door, and their manager came in, a police officer behind him. Moa sat up, and Su stopped her pacing. This wasn't right. The police aren't supposed to be involved.

"Why is he here?" Su asked.

"He's here for the investigation," their manager explained.

"No! He can't do it. We don't need the police involved."

The Japanese man looked at the officer closely. "You're right. We need a private investigator!"

"No! No officers whatsoever! He said they won't help!"

The officer walked up to the two short girls. "Have you seen the guy who took Yoo?"

"Her name is Yui, and no," Su replied, visibly upset. "You can't help us."

"Honey, we'll do everything we can to help. Now, what happened?"

But no matter how many times he asked, neither Su nor Moa would answer. They didn't trust Yui's kidnapper, but they decided to do everything he wants so they could get their Yui back. And if he doesn't want the police, then there shall be no police involved.

Another chapter of this was supposed to be due last year...ooopsssss...
