+CHAPTER ONE+
I run and laugh hysterically as panic overwhelmes me. My face is covered, and I'm pretty sure they don't even know what gender I am. Nor am I even from this city. So if I manage to get away, I think I can manage to stay out of jail. Who am I kidding? This was a suicide mission from the very start.
As I stop laughing and tears streak down my cheeks, I realise there is no hope at all. Because I have just slammed into a dead end.
My vision blurs as the red and blue lights flash in my eyes. I breath heavily as I look for options. Maybe I could climb over a fence or something. But I am cornered.
This is it. I'm gone. Nobody can save me now. Someone's yelling at me but I can't understand because of the wailing sirens in my ears.
A police officer grabs my neck and forces me to my knees. I reach for the gun in my pocket, but he already grabs hold of my arms. As he cuffs me, he narrows his eyes.
"You are under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do can and will be held against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights as they have been read to you?" he says, digging the metal rings into my wrist while I growl at him. He bangs my head the brick wall I'm pressed against, ripping off my mask.
I am oddly irritated when I see no shock in his eyes. The police shouldn't have expected this type of thing from a fifteen year old girl. I let out the loudest scream possible as he snarls and shoves me in the backseat of the quad car, purposefully banging my head. I pass out. Lord have mercy.
A/N: Hey dudes. Okay, I'm not really taking this seriously, it's just something I wanted to try out. Also, my friend likes these type of books so yeah. So ummm...vote and comment. I'd like to know what you think! Especially you, Sara!!! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it, and you should totally check out my other books: "Now Or Never" AND "Predictable Tales" !!!
