An Albatross
I watched An Albatross paled against a horizon's sun,
Needing light on weathered thoughts o'er a stormy sea,
Until the albatross became visible to me.
That's me, paddling, wandering a dream that come. The white tips licked at the gun-whale in haste
As my struggle through currents, (revealed in sweat)
Pasted my thoughts in wild human rage and regret,Then formed visions of what dreams I have chased.
So I followed An Albatross, paled against visions of the sun,
Until the stormy seas became reality to loose my grip.
And loosed from control I begged myself ready to sit,
To with my new-love's embrace - the now silent one.In 'this' folly, some vision's ragged and deadly lure,
I sway 'n bend with horizons, 'til no thought is unsure.
