Moving to a different town was something Riley expected. It was something she preferred. Being able to still communicate with her friends was the only thing that kept her from rampaging on her parents like a bull seeing red. Her dad had a stable job, good income. Even mum had put away her habit of wanting to 'never having to miss a moment of her baby growing up'
Sometimes it was even taken to extreme. Once Riley had come into an episode of her mothers wild teenager memories.
All of them recorded.
No child should have to see her mother dancing around like a lunatic, with her pants on fire, as if eating a large hotdog from Jimmy's and chocking on it. Riley could only wish she was joking but watching -no scarring herself- had just proven what a disgrace this family was to her. Worse was her mother 'teenage language'.
Claiming she's 'cotch'. Watching a goddam episode of Eastenders.
It took everything to not flush herself in embarrassment and move to another country whilst raising a goat and being friends with a sheep herder.
So, why-oh-why had poor, disturbed mother dearest had a certain urge to move to a different country?
Well she,and quote, said, " The vibe just left."
Round of applause people.
Her mother.
Bringing a sense of hope to every other psychopathic mum, that they aren't alone.
They should honestly have a book for this.
'How to teach your parents'
Riley could almost hear the rolls of money being poured in.
Her father, god bless his soul, just smiled at this information claiming he had received a promotion in America but didn't have the heart to tell us in case it made Riley feel uncomfortable. Right there is a real parent.
So that is how Riley's own mother and father created an allegiance. Against her. Their only child. The light of their life; the apple to their pie; the hey to their ho. But no.
A week of torment and further death-sustaining situations and Riley was bombed into an 1st class plane. Already booked.
The little suckers already knew they would win.
