[A/N: Hello, sorry for not going to the actual story but this is something that I had to make in school, it's a short story so please read this. It's not that good, but I don't know, read this. Also, I have to read this aloud to a crowd at school on Wednesday, December 7, so please tell me what to fix.]
I stared out the bus window as every other person talked amongst themselves. I was very nervous, this was my third school this year. My parents always moved, they needed to find new jobs. They could never settle on one job, they always told me that every job they applied for was never satisfying for them. I just wish that they would find the job that suits them the best, so I didn't always have to make new friends. It seems like I would come home from school, just to see a "FOR SALE" sign in front of our house. My thoughts were interrupted when the bus driver yelled, "GET OUT, YOU HOOLIGANS!"
I grabbed my backpack and slung it over my back as I walked out with the rest of the kids. It was very cloudy outside and there were dark clouds ahead, but every kid didn't seem to mind, so I guess I shouldn't mind either. I walked to the office inside the school and waited for the secretary to give me my schedule. "Thanks," I said as she handed me the paper.
"Room 9A," I muttered to myself as I tried to find my homeroom.
I walked to my homeroom and sat down in an empty seat in the back of the classroom. The teacher walked in and everyone stopped talking. "Hello, class. It seems like we have a new student here with us today. Do you want to introduce yourself?" the teacher announced.I sighed, stood up, and made my way to the front of the classroom. I faced the class and started my introduction, which was kind of old, as I have been doing it over and over again every time we moved to a new location for about five years or so. "Hello. My name is Kim Taehyung and I am 16 years old. I was born on December 30, 2000 and I'm from Daegu, South Korea. Um, yeah, that's all," I said, looking at the teacher after finishing.
"Ok, thank you, Taehyung. Now, does the class have any questions?" the teacher said, looking at the class.
I looked at the class and scanned my classmates. My eyes landed on a beautiful girl sitting in the front of the classroom who smiled at me. I looked at her and she met my gaze, still smiling. I didn't know what to do, so I decided to smile too. I studied her features without trying to look too obvious. She had dark, brown eyes that seemed like they were looking inside your soul, her light brown hair that flowed in the wind when even the slightest breeze from the window passed by, and her luscious, pink lips that curved upwards into a contagious smile. In other words, she was an angel from Heaven, she was perfect. My thoughts were cut off when the teacher said, "Jimin?"
I looked at Jimin and he asked, "Why are you here?"
"M-My parents move constantly, so I have to move with them to many locations..." I answered, stuttering.
"Any more questions or comments for Taehyung?" the teacher asked.
The girl raised her hand and I looked at her, trying not to stare too long. The teacher said, "Yes, Tiffany?"
Tiffany. It suited her. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. She said, "I hope you have a nice time here, Taehyung. Welcome to this school."
I blushed and answered, "Thank you."
The teacher clapped once and said, "Now that we are done with questions, let's move onto introducing ourselves. I am Byun Baekhyun, but please, call me Mr. B, Taehyung."
I nodded and everyone began introducing themselves. "Hi, I'm J-Hope," the kid sitting next to Jimin said.
"I'm Jimin."
"Hello, I am Jungkook."
And so on, until it was Tiffany's turn. "Nice to meet you, I'm Tiffany," she said and smiled.
My heart beated quicker than usual and I felt a lump in my throat, unable to respond. I decided to just smile. The rest of the people introduced themselves until it was time to go to our next class. "Ok, guys, have a great day, I'll see you at the end," our teacher said.
I went to my seat and got my backpack and looked at my schedule, which was ripped up. Who did this?! I looked around at the empty classroom and I could see Jimin standing at the doorway, smirking evilly at me. My face turned red with anger as Jimin left the room and went to his next class. I groaned and went up to Mr. B and asked, "Uh, I'm sorry, but could I have a piece of tape?"
"Yeah, sure, Taehyung," he said, handing me the tape dispenser.
I thanked him as I grabbed the tape dispenser and ripped a piece of tape. I went back to my desk and taped the two pieces of my schedule together. What a great start to my first day.
