Hello, everyone! This is my first fanfiction, so be nice, please! TY <3
I own nothing, Finder Series belongs to Yamane Ayano!
Enjoy!

He sat in a comfortable armchair in the corner of the room, clothed in nothing but his robe. His eyes were aimed at the centre of the bed, where his lover; after being rightfully spent, slept peacefully and unsuspecting of his gaze. Ice cubes made a clinking sound, when he brought his right hand with a glass of Scotch to his lips. He took a big gulp before resting his hand against the arm of the chair again. With his left hand he took out one of his Dunhill cigarettes from a small table near his armchair and lit it with a lighter. Breathing in the nicotine, his gaze wandered to the window on his right side.

He puffed out a considerable amount of smoke, as his thoughts ran wild in his head. It was late night and the only source of light came from the outside - the city never slept. For a second it illuminated his face in a blinding manner before his eyes got a chance to adjust.

For some reason, times like this forced him to think the most stupid things. As if he was starting to enter the senile age and was questioning the meaning of life. But he knew the reason behind it. It was his hyperactive lover. Because of him did he start to think about so many things, that did not matter to him before.

Most of the times, he thought about their relationship. At first, it was only a simple game of cat and mouse. But before he had a chance to grasp the right situation to end it, it became something else. Something he couldn't control anymore. Something deeper. But he didn't regret anything . For it was maybe the best thing, that happened in his entire life.

Now, looking back at their beginning, he admired Akihito for being able to stay with him even after all the things he had done and had said to him. You know, what people tend to say in rough situations: „It can only be better." Well, it certainly was true.

Akihito was really a divine creature. Many could protest against it, seeing him only as a poor freelance photographer, also cheeky and cocky to top it off. Certainly, Akihito showed signs of such bratty behavior, but he found it all pretty amusing. You know what they say: „Love is blind." And it, indeed, is.

More than once, he found himself comparing Akihito to the Sun. But, after a thoughtful musing, he concluded, that it wasn't correct. Akihito was more like the Moon than the Sun. It took him a respectable length of his time to come to this conclusion. The Sun would be Akihito's emotions and actions - his soul itself. It radiated more, than anything he had seen before. But, Akihito as a person would be more fitting to be compared to the Moon. The Sun, as a source of his light, that Akihito, as the Moon, reflects on his surface, while he quietly, but dutifully orbits around the Earth. And the Earth would be himself, Asami Ryuichi.

It finally made some sense, when he put it this way. He, as the Earth, orbits around the Sun, while the Moon orbits around the Earth. The Moon, which is magnetized to the Earth by the force of gravity and the Earth, which is magnetized to the Sun in the same way. He would do anything for Akihito to keep that sunny smile on his face. He lives to perform anything it takes to make Akihito happy. Akihito's happiness is the centre of his universe. So, he orbits around the Sun - Akihitos emotions. And Akihito is attracted to him in similar manner.

Akihito always comes back to him, even after their arguments and fights. In their current situation, he hightly doubted, that Akihito would ever be able to exist without his presence in his life. And the same applied to him, too. He couldn't function without the Sun. It was laughable how they interacted.

He placed his empty glass on the table near a round ashtray and put his cigarette out. He started to retreat to his legitimate place next to his still-asleep lover. He halted before the bed and swiftly took his only piece of clothing off. The robe elegantly slumbed down and remained fallen on the floor in its wrinkled form. Asami let it be there, he would take care of it in the morning.
