Chapter 4

I wake up to sound of glass breaking downstairs so I spring out of bed and run downstairs to see who it was. Really?! At 5am?!?  "Sorry did I wake you?" Seb asked "No I just wanted some warm milk and cookies." I said sarcastically rolling my eyes to add to my sarcasam. It looked like he somehow broke an old glass or something. I don't really mind to. I won't be needing them. "So um, why are you still here?" I asked hoping he would take the hint. I hopped onto the counter and watched him pick up the shattered pieces with his hand wondering how he had not really noticed the many cuts he already developed from the glass but ignored it. "Because," he started "I and to keep you company." He said grinning. He threw away the broken glass and held out his hand to help her off of the counter. "Uhm, how about.. No." She said jumping off of the counter and pushing him toward the door urging him to leave her home. "But don't you want to hang out or something?!" He asked not wanting to leave her alone. Seb my not be the nicest person but when he came to her home he had already knew what happend. He already know what was in the box. He already knew she would go back to being depressed once alone. Lastly he already knew that these next couple of days would be hard because of the things she would soon learn. "Just calm down. Let's go to a cafe and get breakfast and then we can just walk around town and do what you want." He said trying to convince her.

Skylar my be a bit of a bitch but she was nieve and had no idea what was coming for her. Her parents dying net that people, (some good some bad) would soon be coming for her. Not for any reason she was aware of either. You see, Skylar is strong. Skylar has built up power locked away inside of her that she has yet to discover. She could potentially be the most powerful being in the world. With that said, her power can be used for good or for evil. She could lead the light or the dark, there is no choice but for her to choose. Seb is neutral his only perpose in life is to serve Skylar but he wants to guide her and show her the life of the light and the dark before she had to choose. He wanted to make sure she knew what she was getting into before she chose. Now al Seb had to do was tell her about her powers and make her read the journals in the box she received so she would know of her history, future, and how she is a fallen angel and a wolf and that her whole life was and has been a lie. Can't be that hard.... right?

"Fine we can go and eat I guess but while we walk you are telling me why you're still here because I know you're up to something." She accused before heading upstairs to get dressed. She put on and open flannel and a black tee shirt wearing white skinny jeans and her grey converses to match. Skylar ran downstairs and saw the door open and Seb standing in the doorway waiting for her.

She walked down the stairs and grabbed her car keys. "I think we should walk." Seb suggested. "Why?" She asked putting the keys back in the bowl and turning back to look at him. "Because it's gonna take about ten minutes to drive, 20 to walk. It's going to take more that 10 minutes to even put a dent in my explination." He said with a slight smirk, his eyes glowing with mischief.
