Rylee and Kirsten was just born in a big house on a rainy night. They were given necklaces, one with a star, the other a heart. Kirsten had the star, Rylee the heart. They were very powerful, there necklace gave them great power, but they could only use it if they were together in harmony.

Not a few minutes later a criminal attacked, a very powerful one. He took the babies and brutally murdered their parents.

No one really knows how but they went up for adoption. But they both got adopted into big families, with no memories of their life before.

They were separated, but they still had there necklaces.

Rylee's POV

"Slow down, Rylee!" My little brother Aden yells, running up to me.

I start walking as my little sister Morgan and Aden catch up to me as I walk in the school. It's my first day of 5th grade.

I am a new kid. I just moved here from Florida. My dad got a new job, hence the reason we moved.

We all go different directions as we go to our classes. I walk upstairs where mine is. Mrs. Clark, I believe.

"Hello Rylee! Welcome to 5th grade!" Mrs. Clark says with a big smile.

"Hi." I say, smiling. I don't really have much to say to her.

Kirsten's POV

"Kirsten wake UP!" Yelled my brother Devin.

I have four brothers. Kind of a crazy life, but sometimes fun.

Today is the first day of fifth grade. My teacher's name is Mrs. Clark. We have different classes to get us ready for middle school. I have Mrs. Clark for home room, science, and spelling. I have Mrs. Clifford for math, and Jan Jones and Ms. Joni for bridges.

"Bye guys." My mom says as my brothers Connor and Devin and I as we get out the car.

"Bye." We all reply.

As I walk into the classroom I see a girl who looks strangely similar like me.

I'm too busy day dreaming to hear Mrs. Clark saying over and over again. "Good morning."

"Oh, good morning to you too." I say as I finally snap back to reality.

I walk over to put my bag on the hook. The new girl is there, doing the same as me.

"Hi. My name's Rylee. I'm new here." She says, smiling.

"I'm Kirsten." I say, smiling back.

I walk over to sign in for lunch. Once I'm done, I go to my desk and wait for next class.

I kept on wondering about Rylee. She looked a lot like me except our hair and eyes were different. It looks like she has a similar necklace to me, but instead of a star like mine, she has a heart.

Once everyone is seated, Mrs. Clark starts to speak. "Hello everyone, welcome to fifth grade!"

"Hi!" We all say.

"Okay, our first class is bridges. You know where to go." She says, walking over to her desk in the corner.

I get up to head to my bridges class, but Rylee taps my shoulder.

"Do you know where Jan Jones and Ms. Joni's class is?" She asks.

"I'm headed that way...you can follow me." I say, walking with her out the door.

"Oh, thanks."

"What classes do you have?" I ask, wanting to break the silence between us.

"You already know who I have for bridges and homeroom. For spelling, english, and science I have Mrs. Clark. For math I have Mrs. Clifford."

Now this is getting weird. I have all my classes with her, she looks like me, and we have similar necklaces.

"Are you..mocking me? We have a lot of stuff about us that are similar. Were you...planning this?" I ask curiously.

"No! Why would I ever want to do that? I barely know you!" She says surprised.

"I was just wondering." I say, trying not to be rude. "Sorry. I overreacted."

"It's okay. I think I overreacted a little bit too."

"Yeah..." I say awkwardly.

We finally make it to the classroom. Maybe this creepy morning can stop now.
