The crowd cheers. The movie is finished. I bow down, holding hands with Boots.
"We love you, Dora!"
"I'm your biggest fan!"
"You're amazing!"
I smile, although these words mean nothing to me. I've heard it all before.
•Swipers pov•
Dora and Boots hold hands and walk off the stage. It hurts me to see then holding hands.
The credits come up, with the Dora theme song playing in the background. Dora's voice gives me goosebumps. It is so beautiful, like her.
•Dora's pov•
I call my mother, but there is no answer. I leave her a voicemail.
"Hey mom, I just wanted to tell you that the movie went great! I hope I get to see you soon. I love you." and then I hung up.
I wash off my makeup in the bathroom sink. The warm water feels good on my face. Then there's a nock on the door.
"Dora, get out here. You need to get ready. You're getting interviewed in an hour." it's Boots.
I almost forgot, I'm getting interviewed today!
"Okay, just a minute."
I dry my face and leave the bathroom.
