Chapter 28

I woke up at around 7:00 and quickly went down for an apple. I went up stairs brushed my teeth, got changed into my outfit for today. I put on a tiny bit of makeup and chucked my hair in a half up and down bun. I put my shoes on and some perfume.

I grabbed my laptop and my text books and put them in my bag. I went in to Justin's room to sit and chat before I left considering I had another ten minutes. I walked into his room as he sat up in his bed watching TV.

"Hey bro"

"Hey Ann, how are you?"

"I'm ok" I smiled

"Just ok?" He questioned

"There's just shit going on at school nothing to worry about though."

"Oh yeah, omg I need you help with something." Justin said sitting up slightly.

"Yes?"

"Okay well where would you take a girl for a first date, ice skating or bowling?" He asked

"Omg Justin! Who?"

"Anna stop I don't want to go into details! Just answer the question."

I laughed and got up. As I was walking away I turned and told him that I think bowling would be best.

I ran downstairs with my bag and jumped in the Range Rover heading to school.

I went to my locker and put my things away, waiting for a friend to show up.

I was watching the doors when Luke slowly started walking towards me. I gave him a sad smile noticing there was no Jai.

"How's Jai?" I asked.

He looked down and said "well when I left this morning he was still in the bathroom. He opened the door for his dinner last night as shut it as soon as I handed it to him." He looked up and all I could do is give him a hug.

"I'm so sorry Luke" I smiled

"It's ok really, we are all doing the best we can" he replied.

"This afternoon I'm taking you home and we are going to get Jai up and out of the bathroom if it the last thing I do." I told him

"Thank you so much babe" he smiled

We went to his locker and waited for the others and they arrived in no time. Before we knew it the bell had gone and we were off to form class. As per usual the roll was called and everyone sat chatting. Unfortunately I have no one to talk to so I mostly just sit there thinking and today I was thinking about Jai and Ariana. Some time today I'm call that bitch up and give her a bloody mouth full.

The bell went and I went off to the oval for my HPE that I would have with Jai but not today obviously.

Morning tea came around quickly and in not time we were all sitting around studying trying to prepare for our tests.

Soon after that I was sitting in my science exam. Luckily for me I finished my test 10 minutes early so I got heaps of time to check it and correct anything if I needed it.

At last the ten minutes were over and I was happy with my test. The lesson finished and we handed out tests in on the way out. I then had language where we didn't really do anything but have a little class party where people just sat around and talked.

The whole lunch we all just sat and studied for our math test. This was the one I'm a little more worried about considering for some reason I struggle a little more on maths then any other subject.

During the test I thought I was doing pretty good considering I normally suck ass at maths. I had a pretty good feeling about this test but didn't want to get my hopes up in case I failed. I normally go around saying that I've definitely failed before I get the test because 1. It makes it easier if you do fail and 2. It makes it much more exciting if you pass.

The test was over and Kylie and I both thought we did alright but now it was time to go see Jai and help him.

I ran to my locker and put my books away I grabbed my bag and put everything I needed in there making sure to keep my phone,wallet and keys out.

Ky turned to me and smiled.

"Hey, Good luck with Jai text me what happens, I love you." 

"Will do, love you" I said running off to Luke's locker.

He smiled as he grabbed my hand and walked out to the car. We got in and safely drove as fast as we could to Luke's. As soon as we got there we ran out the car and into the house seeing Beau on the couch eating Doritos.

"Oi where's Jai?" Luke asked

"He's still in the bathroom, he's eaten but not much." Beau explained.

I quickly ran as fast as I could to their bathroom with Luke following close behind. I put my ear up to the door since it was locked. What I heard broke my heart. All I could hear was Jai breathing and crying. I turned back to Luke and he gave me a sad face.

"Jai it's Anna, do you wanna open up the door?" I whispered.

"Anna what are you doing here?" He whispered back from under the door.

"I came to speak with you." I stated

"Really?"

This conversation lasted about 14 minutes straight before he opened the door. What I saw killed me. It was hard to see a good friend like this. Sitting on the bathroom floor with his school uniform on from yesterday with no top because he was probably hot. His face was stained red with tears stains covering his whole face and down his chest. Plus he had dark dark circles under his eyes because I'm guessing he didn't sleep last night.

I gave him a small smile and joined him on the floor giving him a massive hug. Letting him cry on my shoulder.

"Jai?"

"Yeah?"

"She's a piece of shit" I whispered.

He looked up at me and for the first time in a while, he smiled.

Jai and I sat and talked for a good half an hour before I asked Luke to grab him some clean pjs so he can have a shower and sort himself out.

From what I've seen already Jai looks a lot better but it was getting a little darker and I needed to get home because mum is probably wondering where I was. Luke walked me to the front door as Beau yelled out thank you front the couch. Luke thanked me as well giving me a kiss goodbye as I left his house and started driving home.

All I could now think about was eating and sleeping as soon as I got home. I'll have to deal with Ariana tomorrow.
