Amazon Rainforest, South America
Leo jumped from stone to stone as he crossed the river making sure to not fall. He was on a journey once again to photograph and document the undiscovered parts of the world. This time, his research brought him into the depths of the Amazon Rainforest.
<Leo's POV>
I safely landed on the other side of the river. I turned around to photograph the morning sun reflecting on the small river. It was still early. The mist from the early morning still lingered in the air. Back in New York, I would still be sleeping and now I was getting used to the slight time difference. My groggy eyes focused on the forest ahead of me. I had strayed from the path about an hour ago and didn't know where I was.
I trekked trough the green area with caution. Once in awhile, I would hear the rustling of leaves or the distant sounds of Blue Macaws. I was able to photograph some animals such as spider monkeys, dart frogs, and iguanas.
As I was trying my best to get a good angle to photograph a tucan, I noticed a mark or a symbol carved into the tree trunk I was standing near.
I remembered that before I arrived in South America, I had reviewed and remembered a few of the rune symbols. This one that is carved into the bark is Dagaz which means Daylight or Dawn.
