Anastasia Tarquin walked in and sat down in her chair in front of Calls cell. "Let him out." She said to the guard "let him out or you'll be dead in thirty seconds." The guard scrambled to get the key to the three way lock on the sell. He did some weird thing with fire and other stuff and boom Call walked right out of the sell. Anastasia snapped her fingers and the guard fell to the ground with a "crack" Call wondered what in the world was happening. "I brainwashed them Constantine!" She said creepily "They're all brainwashed Rufus, Alma, North. Everyone."
"W-what?" Call asked "What do you mean they're brainwashed?"
"They forgot the part about you being you, Constantine. They all only remember Aaron being dead, and Alex stealing Aaron's abilities."
"But I've been here this whole time where will they think I was?"
"They think you were in the infirmary. They think you're a hero."
"But-but."
"Shhhhhh! Follow me."
Call and the assemblywoman walked down the winding corridors all the way to his room.
"Have fun my boy, thank me in the afterlife."
And with that she disappeared.
Call was extremely confused.
He used his wrist band to open the door and he saw Tamara on the couch with...Gwenda? Tamara saw Call and came bounding towards him. "CALL!" She screamed "I missed you so much!" She was extremely happy. Tamara grabbed a hold of his shoulders and pulled him to her. Their lips met. Tamara let go of Calls shoulders and they opened their eyes. "Oh." Tamara said while she cupped her mouth and her eyes widened. "Call I-I." Call liked her-he liked her a lot actually. Call thought Tamara would prefer Aaron over him. She probably did but-but now... "No,no it's okay...I like you like that too." Call grabbed her up into a giant hug and they kissed once again. If Tamara's eyes had gotten any wider they would've popped right out of her head. "Tamara. I've missed you so much."
"I'm glad you're back, hero."
Call was so ecstatic, but so guilty at the same time. Hero? He was the enemy of death, nonetheless a hero. He wasn't in the infirmary that whole time. And...did Tamara still know about the whole captain fish face thing? "Come sit, Call. Me and Gwenda were just..."
"We were just planning out Aaron's funeral." Gwenda spoke for Tamara
Tamara and Call both looked like they were going to throw up at the sound of that. "Why-why did you wait so long?" Call asked. Why didn't they just do it a few days after the...incident?
"You were in a coma and stuff and we thought you'd want to be there." Tamara said
"Oh, thanks for that."
Call could see that Gwenda was holding a sheet of paper with things printed on it "Could I see that, Gwenda?" Call asked "Sure." She said as she handed it to him. On the paper it said lots of things for decorations. One thing that stood out to call was that most things were black. "Why is everything for the decorations black?"
"Because black was Constantine's favorite color said Tamara.
