I was sitting on the couch next to my brother when Skylar ran down the stairs smiling and shouting with joy, "Guys I just got the best email ever," She started but was cut off by Oliver, " YES! I knew you'd like it, it took me two weeks to write that song." Skylar looked at him confused,"I didn't get an email from you." I laughed and said,"That's because he accidentally sent it to me." I pushed play and the words from Oliver's song blasted from my phone, I'll keep you warm Skylar Storm.

Oliver quickly turned off the song and looked back at Skylar. She shook her head,"Anyways my best friend from Caldera is coming." Chase laughed,"Wait, aliens have email." Skylar looked at him,"Of course we do. We may have fourteen toes but we aren't that crazy." Chase looked confused but agreed anyways,"Okay so when is she gonna get here." Right as he asked that a space portal opened up and a girl who looked just like Skylar stepped out. Chase gave his signature girly scream then calmed down,"Well,at least we don't have to pick her up from the airport."

Skylar chuckled at his comment and hugged Scarlett. I spoke up ,"Is she your best friend or your twin sister." Kaz quickly jumped on the answer,"All females on Caldera look exactly the same." Oliver looked like he was in heaven, " And it's glorious." It is glorious  I thought. Yes I did have a crush on Skylar, but nobody knew about it. Except maybe Kaz, because he always puts me and Skylar together when we split up on missions.

Scarlett looked at Skylar the same way Oliver does. I felt a burning sensation down in the pit of my stomach, is it jealousy? No, it can't be Skylar is my best friend practically my sister. Scarlett is just a friend of hers. At least I hope she is. Kaz elbowed me slightly, "Are you okay Bree? You seem tense is it because of Scar-" He was cut short by my elbow to his side. Skylar looked at me,"Bree, you okay?" I could feel tears starting to gather in the cornersof my eyes, I couldn't speak so I just nodded. As I looked down I saw that Skylar and Scarlett had their hands together, fingers intertwined.

I stood quickly and ran up to my room. Since I have a capsule I stepped inside and started to sob, thank God my capsule is soundproof. I felt a knock on my capsule, I turned to see that it was Kaz. I opened the door, but I didn't move he sat down across from me,"Bree are you upset about something? "I shook my head,"No I'm fine Kaz." He was not convinced, "There's no use lying about it, you sped up to your room. I know you're upset, and I know why." I was scared now, he knew,"You do." I said. He nodded, "Bree I know you have a crush on Skylar. It's so obvious, when you look at her your eyes light up, you get all flustered when you talk to her. I'm surprised she hasn't caught on yet."

He didn't move," Am I right." I slowly nodded wiping tears off of my cheeks. "I don't understand why I feel this way, I've never felt this way towards her. I'm not gonna lie Kaz, it's scary." He nodded in agreement, "I know it is Bree. Crushes are strange especially when it's your best friend." Kaz has this certain charm to him that makes me feel better when we talk. Soon enough I was laughing and smiling at all his goofy antics.

He looked at me and grinned,"Are you jealous of Scarlett?" I shook my head but I could feel my cheeks heating up. Kaz laughed," That's so funny. I never pictured the mighty Bree Davenport to be jealous." We sat there laughing at each other when a voice came from outside the door,"Jealous of what?" Of course the voice had to come from Skylar herself. She stood in the door way waiting for an answer. I managed to stutter a response, "Jealous of the fact that Oliver likes you and he doesn't like me."
