Ch.3

-----Katy's POV-----

"I want my prize" Zach said

"Are you being serious ?" I asked

"Yes I am" Zach said

And with that he leaned in and kissed me. His lips were so soft and warm. I just wish he was mine and I could have him whenever I want. Oh what I was thinking he was my best friend !

Before I could do anything Zach pulled away.

"Um" Zach said embarrassed

"Will this affect us ?" I asked

"It shouldn't. We're still going to be best friends." Zach said

"Okay good" I said

"Zach" his parents called

"In the gym" he said

"Come here" they said

I walked with Zach into the living room were his parents were.

"What were you guys doing ?" His parents asked

"Oh we were playing volleyball" I said

"Did you win?" They asked

"Mom ! Dad ! You should be rooting for your son" Zach said

"No. I let him win" I said with a grin

"Did not i won fair and square" he said

"You are such a kid" I said sticking out my tongue

"Katy, will you be spending the night ?" His parents asked

I looked at Zach. His family never minded if I stayed but after the kiss i needed Zach's approval. He just looked at me blankly. Well I guess it was a yes. I couldn't say no, have you seen how back his house is !

"I'd love to spend the night" I said with a smile

"Okay. We'll call your parents and tell them, besides we need to get in touch with them again" Zach's parents said

"Okay thanks" I said

-----Zach's POV-----

Katy & I kissed. I would've never thought I'd say that. She's my best friend but I love her. I don't know what she's feeling. My parents asked if she was going to spend the night an she started back at me as if she wanted approval. I just gave her a blank look, she didn't need my approval to spend the night, she never did so why now ? Besides we always have fun when she stays over, it's like we're kids again.

We walked up to my room. Once we got in she locked the door.

"We need to talk" she said

"About what ?" I asked

"The kiss" she said

"Um" I said

"I think it's best if we stay friends for now because I don't quite know what I'm feeling and I much less know what you're feeling" she said

"Um I guess. Ok" I said

"We shouldn't let this ruin our friendship" she said

"It's not going to. You mean to much for me to lose" I said

"The same with you" she said

"Lets just have a sleep over like we would any other Day" I said

"Sounds good" she said

What did she mean she didn't know what she was feeling ?! You obviously know what you're feeling. You either like the person or you don't. I'm not going to stress over it because if she finds out I'm stressing than she'll stress.

"I don't have any pajamas" Katy said

"Did you check "your" drawer ?" I said

"Yeah. I used my last pair last time I slept over" she said

"Sleep in one of my shirts" I said

"Are you crazy !?" She asked

"No. It's not like you haven't before" I said

"Fine. What about bottoms ?" She asked

"Either my boxers as shorts or your spandex you chose" I said

"Spandex" she said

"That's what I thought" I said

"I'm gonna go change in your bathroom" she said

"Okay" I said

-----Katy's POV-----

Since I didn't have any pajamas I had to sleep in one of Zach's shirts and my spandex. I went into his bathroom to change. When I put his shirt on it instantly smelled of cologne. His cologne always smelled so good. I loved the way he smelled. When I walked out of the bathroom I saw a shirtless Zach in his boxers.

"Um Zach ?" I asked

"Yes?" He asked

"You realize your in your boxers an not shorts or pj pants" I said

"Well you haven't slept over in FOREVER and since you weren't here I got use to sleeping like this" he said

"Well for my sake can you got put on some pants" I said

"No. An besides don't act like you don't like your view" he said with a smirk

"Oh shut up" I said

I could not think straight. I basically just saw a half naked Zach. My best friend. I shouldn't have these kind of feelings for my best friend. The guy I've know since I was born. Feelings for him ? Nah must be the wrong guy. Or puberty just hit him real well !

"Katy !" Zach shouted

"Yes ?" I asked

"I found baby pictures of me and you" he said

"Oh let's look at them" I said

"Are you sure you want to come near me. I'm still in my boxers" he said laughing

"Shut up." I said

"How are you gonna handle your boyfriend in his boxers or your husband?" He asked

"Well that's different" I said

"How ? I could be both of them" he said laughing

"Never" I said laughing

"Hey ! I'm handsome you know" he said

"Yes I know" I said

"Back to boxers. How are you gonna handle them ?" He asked

"Well obviously ill get use to it because ill be seeing my boyfriend and or husband like that quite often. An it's different because your my best friend" I said

"Did you forgot that we use to take baths together when we where small. Nothing mattered back than" he said

"Yeah cause we didn't know about the birds and the bees back than" I said

"Well we do Now" he said

"Your a genious" I said with a sarcastic look

"Well are we gonna look at this pictures or not?" He asked

"Yes we will" I said

That's it. I've made up my mind. I know what I'm feeling. I'm in love. With my best friend.
