~Griff's POV~

Griff woke up. He rubbed his eyes and went downstairs to check on his family. He had been living in the Rosses' New York penthouse for a few months before getting adopted by a couple living in the same building. He was more than satisfied with his family. He could ask for nothing more.

"Griff, I made pancakes." Griff's mom, Aubrey said, flipping pancakes in the frying pan.

"Yum. Thanks," Griff jumped into his seat and ate quickly.

"Yikes. Slow down, sport." Aubrey laughed. "I know you're excited to see your girl and all, but you gotta take your time eating."

Griff and Zuri had spent time together between summers, but Griff was more than excited to see her at Camp Kikiwaka. He finished his pancakes and grabbed his backpack he had packed the night before.

"Alright, we've gotta leave for camp in a few minutes. You ready?" Aubrey asked, grabbing her purse.

Griff dusted himself off. "As ready as I'll ever be."

~Zuri's POV~

"Bertram, don't eat all the cookies while I'm gone." Zuri grinned, hugging Bertram.

"I can't promise I'll listen." Bertram laughed.

Zuri rolled her eyes and started down the stairs.

"Zuri, you have everything?" Emma asked from the bottom floor, carrying luggage.

Zuri double-checked her bags. "I think so."

"I know who you're ready to see." Emma smirked.

"Shut up," Zuri giggled.
"Fine, fine. C'mon, we're gonna be late." Emma hurried for the elevator, Zuri following.

"Ravi, how long does it take you to pack your things?" Emma shouted.

"Coming!" Ravi ran into the elevator door, making an audible noise.

"Nice one," Zuri chuckled. "Get in here, we don't have all day."

Zuri looked down at the picture of her and Griff that was attached to the side of her suitcase.

"See you in a while," she whispered.

6 hours later..

~Griff's POV~

"Almost there!" Aubrey smiled, looking at the views of the woods at Camp Kikiwaka. Everything about this place made Griff feel at ease.

Soon they rolled into the parking lot for dropoff.  Griff spotted the Rosses carrying their luggage.

"Bye, love you!" Griff said, hugging Aubrey quickly before running towards them. Zuri jumped into Griff's arms, hugging him tightly.

"I know it's been like a week since we last saw each other but I've missed you." Griff whispered in Zuri's ear, holding her close.

"I've missed you too, Griff." Zuri smiled as Griff let her down onto the ground.

"Nice to see you again too." Ravi rolled his eyes.

"Sup, Ravi? Hey, Emma." Griff fist-bumped Ravi.

"Hey, where's Xander?" Emma asked, searching around.

"He's probably fixing his hair in the bathroom." Griff laughed.

"True. See ya later, guys." Emma said, rushing off to the other campers.

"So, I guess we should find the other campers, huh? I think I saw Lou in the cafeteria." Ravi shrugged.

"Sure." Zuri and Griff followed Ravi. Soon they spotted Lou, playing cards with Tiffany.

"Hey Lou!" Zuri, Griff and Ravi exclaimed in unison.

"Hey guys! How have ya been?" Lou exclaimed, pulling everyone in for a group hug.

"Can't complain." Zuri smiled.

"Zuri, I missed you so much!" Tiffany said, jumping up and down in excitement.

"I missed you too, Tiff! Have you gotten settled in the Woodchuck cabin yet?" Zuri asked.

"Yep! I can help you unpack if you want." Tiffany said.

"That would be great. See you guys later." Zuri said, following Tiffany.

~Zuri's POV~

As Tiffany helped Zuri unpack her things, Tiffany started grinning.

"What are you grinning about?" Zuri giggled.

"Oh, nothing." Tiffany grinned wider.

Zuri rolled her eyes. "You're really bad at hiding things."

"Ugh, fine. I was hoping no one else was here because I want to know EVERYTHING about your relationship." Tiffany was now grinning madly.

"Why do I need to tell you everything about it?" Zuri laughed.

"Because I should be the one to know. I am your #1 Gruri shipper, after all." Tiffany smirked.

"Well, we hung out a lot between summers. It's been great." Zuri blushed noticeably just thinking about it.

"That's sooooo cute!" Tiffany giggled like an obsessed fangirl.

Zuri smiled. "Now let's get my stuff unpacked, shall we?"

Tiffany huffed. "Alright. But keep me informed."

Zuri laughed. "You sound like such a stalker, Tiff."

Tiffany grinned. "Hehe, I know."
