Splinters

Josh's p.o.v.

Today when I was taking out the trash I had no shoes on and I got a splinter in my foot. I was to scared to tell Louis because I knew he would take it out and it would hurt so I pretended that everything was ok. "Josh time for lunch" Liam called. I limped downstairs and into the kitchen but nobody noticed. I then sat down in my spot and started eating my sandwich. When I was done I put my plate up and limped upstairs to my room. I was sitting when  Niall and Harry asked me to be one of the goalies for the football (soccer) game. I agreed and went outside with them I was one goalie and Louis was the other while Zayn and Harry were on a team and Liam & Niall were on the other team. The ball came to my goal and I tried to block it but then my foot really started hurting so I sat in the grass and started crying. Louis ran over to see what was wrong.

Louis' p.o.v.

Josh was about to block the ball from going in but instead he stopped and sat in the grass beginning to cry. I ran over to him to see what was the matter. "Joshie what's wrong"? I questioned he just pointed to his foot. I squatted down and took his shoe off while everyone else came over to see what was happening. I also took Josh's sock off to see a splinter. "it's really deep I think he needs to go to the emergency room" Zayn commented I nodded putting his sock and shoe back on and picking him up carrying him to the car. I sat him in the front while everybody else got in the back while Liam drove in his own car. Josh kept whimpering on the way to the emergency room. When we got there I picked him up again and walked up to the front desk. "I need a doctor right now he has a splint really deep in his foot". "ok hang on" she said. She left and came back with a wheelchair and another nurse. I sat Josh into it and they wheeled him into a room with all of us following. "the doctor will be here soon" she spoke leaving the room. Josh was still whimpering. "hey it's going to be ok I wished you would've told us earlier". He nodded but pouted at the same time. Soon the doctor came in. "hello I'm doctor Beck" the doctor spoke. He got a syringe putting it in hot water while he put gloves on. Once the syringe was ready the doctor picked up syringe getting ready to put it in his wound (they took off his sock & shoes when the syringe was getting ready) Josh got up and ran out the door. I got up following him he was almost to the end of the hall when I threw him over my shoulder. He started struggling so I popped him on his bum. He still struggled so I put him on the floor grabbing in place forcing him to look at me "STOP IT RIGHT NOW BEFORE I WHIP YOU"!!!!!!!! He whined so I just grabbed him and put him back over my shoulder ignoring the kicks I got. I sat him back on the table and the doctor came closer and he struggled I pinned him down. He got part of his body out of my grip. "Zayn please come hold his other side" I said he nodded and did as I said. Josh then started crying. P-please don't let him h-hurt me he cried out. I nodded as a way to tell him to give him it.

Doctor Beck's p.o.v.

When Mr. Tomlinson nodded I put the syringe in the wound pushing the button and taking it out and getting tweezers slowly pulling out the splinter Josh was bawling. I then grabbed a band-aid and putting it on his wound.

Zayn's p.o.v.

I felt so bad he was bawling his heart  out and I had to pin him down.

Louis' p.o.v.

Soon the doctor was done and I pulled Josh. He put his head in my neck and I was comforting him. Finally he stopped crying and we all left going home to rest.
