OK so after everything I have been through a couple days ago, the nice police man asked me if I would like to live with him until I turned 18. I took him up on that offer because, hey, only 2 years until I turn 18 and I would rather live with a cop than out on the streets. I went to Lizzie's to tell her what was going on and we said our goodbyes before I left with officer Peyton. It was about a twenty minute drive from where I used to live so I wouldn't have to switch schools and I could all of my friends.

The car stopped in a huge gravel driveway. I looked around and what I saw blew my mind. This guy's house was huge, like seriously it looked like one of those ancient Greek temples I read about in history class. It had three Victorian columns on either side of this giant staircase. Huge plate glass windows covered the top floor of the house.
"Welcome to your home for the next two years, Skylar." Officer Peyton said while getting my bags out of the trunk of his police car. I had no words so I just nodded my head.
"This house is amazing!" I said as we walked through the front door.
