Phoneix laughed out loud as she took out her phone from her pocket, pointing it at Lennox as he made a funny face. Sticking out his tongue with one of his eyes closed, the girl snapped the photo. "This is going to be great."
"My turn!" Bob, one of the newest soldiers, ran up in front of the phone. With his eyes widening, the boy holds back a smile as he pulls at his mouth from both sides.
Epps goes next, and for his snap, he posed as if he were going to be in a vogue magazine. Popping his hips out to the side.
Phoneix leaned over while holding her ribs, not being able to hold back a laugh. "Oh my goodness!"
Epps smirked as all the soldiers howled. The photographer clicked her phone.
"Alright! Who's next?"
"Can't forget meeeee!" Steffany giggled and rushed up to Phoneix, pressing a kiss to her cheek. Phoneix blushed.
Steffany leaned forward and acted as if she were going to blow a kiss. Phoneix chuckled and snapped the photo.
Once everyone had gotten their photo taken, Phoneix took her phone to the nearest drugstore and connected it to one of their computers to print all the pictures. All the people in the store stared at the girl wearing a military uniform. They had never seen that before, and most of them hadn't ever seen anybody in the military. One of the pharmacists there came up behind her back, glancing at the photos on the screen.
"Hello, Ma'am, can I help you with anything?" She asked with an awkward smile.
The soldier jumped from the sudden noise, whipping around to look at the girl. "Oh! Hello. I didn't notice you walking up."
"Sorry to have startled you, I just wanted to make sure you were doing alright,"
"Ah, yeah, I'm doing just fine." Phoneix narrowed her eyes as she found everyone to be staring at her. She smiled and then waved.
Everyone else smiled as well.
Turning back once her photos were done, she took all of the printings and left - after being stopped a few times to be talked to.
Phoneix stood still in the parking lot, smiling as she glanced around at the skies, seeing white clouds floating all around with the bright yellow sun shining down. The streets were busy, and screeching of tires, ignitions firing up, and the whoosh as they would fly down the street sang in her ears. This was a moment she never had a chance to get before. Being in the military -along with no family to go home to- she found herself alone most of the time -stuck in a giant base. The autobots were her friends, but sometimes the company of a human was comforting.
A car beside of the soldier screamed to a stop, and the window at the driver's seat rolled down for a man to stick his head out and shout, "Get out of the way!" His eyes were narrowed, but they suddenly softened when he saw her up a bit closer. She was from the military.
"I am so sorry, Ma'am. Um, have a nice day," the driver rolled back up his window with his cheeks heating up with embarrassment.
Phoneix chuckled.
Making her way back to the car waiting for her, she hopped back Chevrolet corvett stingray, otherwise known as Sideswipe. He wanted to be in on this, too.
"How did it go?" The car asked, humming to life and speeding out of the parking lot.
"Fine. It's not like what I was doing was complicated." She smiled and stared out the window.
"Is anything you do complicated?" He joked.
"Nah,"
They sat in comfortable silence for a few more minutes. She continued to look out the window and watch as the busy city turned into a lonely pasture.
"So did you print out the photos of the autobots too?" Sideswipe spoke up.
"Yep!"
"I can't wait for General Moreshower's reaction when he returns home."
It's true, Phoneix is playing a prank on the general. He went off on a family vacation a few days ago, and he will be back tomorrow. The soldier came up with a plan to mess with him. One prank couldn't hurt, would it? So her and the soldiers all planned it out, they found the camera and brought everyone together. Sideswipe, Ratchet, the Arcee twins and even Optimus got their picture taken!
Arriving back at the base, Phoneix jumped out of the vehicle and ran towards Moreshower's office. Grabbing some tape on her way, she opened his door and flipped on the light switch. Her lips curled into a smirk and she got to work.
Pictures upon pictures were plastered to the walls and table. Doubles of the soldiers' faces were everywhere, and some of them forced Phoneix to stop and laugh. They looked so silly! All of them! This should be great, she thought.
Optimus gave the camera a thumbs up with a slight smile, Ratchet held his mouth with a digit and winked, Sideswipe kneeled with his hand out, like a proposal would be. In one of the photos, Bob, Steffany, Lennox, Epps and Aaron all stood side by side, holding Phoneix in their arms who had a goofy smile.
Taping down one last photo onto the computer in front of her, Phoneix took a step back and clapped her hands together, taking in her accomplishment. With pictures of all the military and few autobots, Moreshower should be happy to find them all over his room. He does love them, right? (Cue sarcasm.)
The next day...
"Phoneix Hunter Chaines!" A masculine voice screamed.
