[Epilogue] A new beginning

Months passed by since then. The wind is rushing by, a cold crisp wind carries leaves. Each leaf sways, rushing against the many leaves on the floor, cascading into one another and creating a rustle of leaves which are personified by the wind. The last leaf falls off a tree, making it more barren then it was, as it falls to the ground it is lifted up by a burst of wind. It is Autumn.

Sophielle will be discharged from the hospital today. It was tough for her at first when she first woke up. She couldn't move her body at all. It feels as if she was paralyzed. It wasn't strange though, considering she was in comatose for years. But thanks to the rehabilitation and therapies, she's finally able to move again like normal.

A day after she woke up, Sophielle found herself fangirling silently when she saw her brother brought her fiancèe to the hospital. It was her first time meeting Kay. So it was very exciting for her.

Awkward things also happened to her during rehabilitation. For example, Mikhail told Eada about Sophielle's being and how she was inside the mirror she almost broke. Strangely, she believes all of that unlike most people and apologizes at Sophielle while crying like a child. They became friends shortly after that.

"Sophielle, do you want an apple?" Sophielle's brother asked Sophielle and Kuon who happened to be there too chuckled.

"She doesn't like apple, Onii-san. Did you forget?" Kuon asked in a mocking tone, making the older brother groaned.

"Yeah, smartass. I'm not asking you."

"Come on, stop arguing. But yeah, I don't like apple. So.. nope." Sophielle replied and then she saw her brother wearing his tiger necklace again.

"...What are you staring at?" Her brother raised one of his brows and she smiled.

"Nothing... I just remembered I had a tiger as a pet.. in that world. I wonder why a tiger." She muttered with a grin.

"Oh.. the one from your story. Maybe because the tiger is cool?" Her brother acted like he doesn't know who the tiger was. Yes, he nor Ivan didn't tell her about who the tiger was. Because to him, some things are better left unknown. They only told her how her brother was the one who bought the mirror and how Ivan told him that Sophielle's there.

"Anyway, you're going back home today... I can't believe it. This isn't a dream is it?" Her brother said again and Sophielle chuckled.

"Come on this is like the thousandth times."

"Well, sorry, it was just... waiting for you to wake up for years was.. anyway, I'm really really glad you're here now." Her brother muttered again with a softened face and voice tone.

"Aww, that's so sweet," Sophielle said with a mischievous smile on her face.

"But seriously, I was surprised to see you remember Prince Ivan."

"Remember?"

"I mean... you and Ivan told me about the mirror thing." Her brother mumbled.

"Oh.. I don't know too. But I'm glad I remember him and you and Kuon and the others too." Sophielle replied at her brother before her cheeks reddened.

"Oh? What is this? Something fishy must have happened between you and Ivan during those days when you're in a coma. I mean you're so close to him. You even become a thing so sudden." Her brother gave her a smug smile and she quickly cleared her throat.

"It's nothing! Shut up, you stupid brother!"

She doesn't know that someone in the room is looking away, acting as cool as ever despite they're actually holding back the pain and regret they felt.
