The sun may go down on you.
Your colours may fade.
The spring may be far behind
A year, or two or a decade.

I'll hold on to you.
I will not let you go.
I'll be there for you.

The light may flicker.
You fire may burn down.
You may be the queen or a slave
With or without your crown.

I'll be your solace.
I will be your calm.
I'll be there for you.

The days may seem too cold.
You nights may be desolate.
You may get exhausted
With life and with fate.

I'll be your smile.
I will not let you lose.
I'll be there for you.
