"Mm.." Carmen said as she looked at her clock. "Huh, I guess I woke up early.." She stretched her arms and yawned. She figured she had time, so she opened her laptop and checked YouTube to see if anyone had uploaded. "hmm 43 videos.." though it was pretty normal to get that many videos, (considering how early she usually slept), she was still pleasantly surprised. She went to look at the videos they uploaded, and was a bit annoyed. All of her favorite channels uploaded, but she was still disappointed because 2/3 of them were things like "YouTube is killing my channel!!" She didn't want to waste anymore time looking at this dissatisfying waste of effort that was her subscription feed.

After Carmen had gotten dressed and ready to go get breakfast, she checked her clock again. Once she saw that she had an hour and a half left, she sighed and began walking slowly to the kitchen. She had guessed that she would be the only one there. But to her surprise, Meg was at the table, scrolling through her snapchat page, trying to find any of her friend's 'relatable first day of school' pics. Being the slightly edgy person Carmen was, she rolled her eyes and scoffed. Meg looked up not even annoyed like she usually would be. "Hey, sis," Carmen was a bit surprised by her calm tone of voice, but she responded, "Yes?" she said, slightly curious as to what Meg was going to tell her. "Do you want to see one of my friends from school?" Meg asked. "uh sure..?" Carmen said, more questioning herself than answering the question as she walked towards Meg. Carmen looked on Meg's phone, only to see someone who looked like one of those you tubers: a choker, baggy cat sweatshirt, 'classic' gothic-emo hair and ear piercings. "..wow? You're friends with her?" Carmen asked Meg, a bit- no very surprised that one of MEG's friends was a emo goth-girl. "Yeah" Meg replied. "She's new here and I got to walk her around. She's actually pretty chill and sh.." Meg was saying, her voice trailing off.
