"They will be held in the cafeteria on Monday. Raise your hand to get a flyer.""Are you going to try out?"I ask my BFF Stacey.
"Umm, yeah. Duh!" She answered sarcastically. "You know that when I sing I sound like a beached whale"
"Haha. Well I'm gonna sign up. You can be my cheerleader"
"Oh, yeah, suuure."
While raising my hand, I look around the room to see the competition. I look over and see Dannie raising her hand. I wonder if I've ever heard her sing. She meets my eyes with hers and immediately put her hand down, pulled her sleeves over her hands, and turned the other way.
