This takes place after the Giant War. Annabeth lives with her dad in California. By Yellowzkitty (better than Maren).

Annabeth sighed as she opened the door to her bedroom. She knew she should be festive, but she couldn't fly out to New York to see Percy. Annabeth was dreading the holidays, even if she got to spend it with her dad.

Making her way to the kitchen, Annabeth smelled cookies. Of course, they wouldn't be as good as Sally's blue ones.

"Hey honey," Helen said. Annabeth wasn't okay with calling her that, it wasn't like she was acting motherly.

"Hi," she mumbled and snatched a cookie. She headed back to her room. She flipped on the lights, since it was dark out, and put her pajamas on. Tomorrow was Christmas Eve, but Annabeth didn't really care.

She picked up her phone. Percy usually answered, but he hasn't been texting recently.

Bobby and Matthew were running through the house, trying to piss Annabeth off. She rolled over, checking her clock. It was only 7 o'clock. But Annabeth couldn't got back to sleep, so she went on with her day.

Her parents and step brothers went out to a Christmas tree lighting. They, being the terrible parents they already were, left Annabeth at home. It was okay though. Annabeth didn't really want to go.

She was sitting on the couch in her dark house when there was a knock on the door. Annabeth set down her book and walked over. It better not be her dad again. She was getting really agitated. She opened the door to see him.

His black hair was a mess but his sea green eyes were bright as can be. Percy was standing at the door (if you couldn't tell already). Annabeth stood there in shock. Then, Percy pulled her into a hug. He wrapped his muscular arms around her waist and pulled her up. Annabeth's arm were around his neck.

"Merry Christmas Wise Girl," he whispered. Annabeth's heart fluttered.

"What are you doing here?" She pulled away and took his hands. They engulfed her smaller hands.

"Spending Christmas with my girlfriend," he smiled. Annabeth leaned in and kissed him. She missed that. She missed the touch of his lips, his scent of the ocean.

Well, they stood there for a couple of minutes, so I'll just fast forward...

"How long?" Annabeth asked, lifting her lips off his mouth. Percy smiled then pulled away.

"Til New Years," he grinned. Annabeth smiled and let him in the door.

They watched a movie, snuggling together. But really, they both talked about how senior year was going. Annabeth laid her head on his chest while he wrapped his arm around her body. It was a comfortable feeling. One that Annabeth wanted to stay in her heart.

The rest of her family were out, but it was late. Annabeth and Percy decided to go to bed. They both slept in her bed, snuggling more. Percy played with her golden locks as Annabeth slowly fell asleep. But this year, she was excited. She was finally in the Christmas mood.

Yay! Merry Christmas to all. Plus other holidays you guys might celebrate. Hope you like this fluff. Bye now.
