first birthday
eth: "good morning baby boy!" ethan said as the two of you walked into noah's room. he sat up wide awake, smiling and giggling.
you picked him up," someone has just turned one today," you smiled laying him on the changing table, gently.
"you ready for your big party?" ethan asked and noah giggled clapping his hands.
"i can't believe he's already one," you said changing his diaper and ethan nodded. "you are just growing up so fast!" you said to the now one year old who just giggled at the two of you.
ethan picked him up, "c'mon birthday boy, let's go get you and your party ready," he said as he left the room and began to walk downstairs.
gray: "they're not even eating it, they're beating it up," you laughed, watching your sons smash the cake in front of them. the frosting was smeared all over them and all over to the kitchen.
"we should clean them up soon," grayson said looking over at the two boys who had dirty clothes on.
"wait, the grandparents want a picture of mom and dad with their babies," lisa said and you smiled. you and grayson posed next to the twins, lisa taking a picture as well as your mom. you waited a few minutes before everyone decided to leave, and grayson took them up to get cleaned.
you walked into the kitchen, grabbing a wet rag and beginning to wipe down the tables. lisa joined you a few minutes later, "lisa you don't have to stay, we can clean it up," you said continuing to wiping off some frosting.
she shook her head, "no, you go with gray and clean the twins up. i got this," she said and you sighed, feeling bad but doing what she wanted.
