Chapter 1 ~ what do we do?

~DANNY'S POV~

The alarm clock screamed in my ear as I woke to face the new day. The weekend was over and it was time for school so I got out of bed put my normal clothes on plus the extra bandages added from another encounter with skulker I had last night , a lot of ghosts have been lurking around amity lately and I don't know why, but all the fights are taking lots of energy out of me so this morning I felt like shit. I walked down the stairs getting cereal from the cabinet as the growling pancake was giving me a death glare but I mostly ignored it because as usual my crazy ghost hunting parents have to cook with ectoplasm which basically brings our food to life every morning. They are good at inventions since it was their ghost portal that turned me half ghost but they are the worst at hunting ghosts, seriously a ghost lives under their own roof and they don't even realize it, anyways I am happy they don't know my secret because it they did, in my fathers own words they would be tearing me apart molecule by molecule.I was finishing my cereal as my sister Jazz had just come down the stairs she noticed my face and asked " who? " I looked around the room for mom and dad but jazz just said " mom and dad are in the lab, now who was it this time " she asked but in a way commanding me to tell. " just skulker " I replied simply.
" oh ok well see you after school little brother. And she walked out the door. I figured that I should leave too so I got my bag and left for school.

I was grabbing my books out of my locker as my two best friends Sam and Tucker walked up to me. " Hey Danny " tucker said cheerfully to me, but I was not in the mood so I just said "hey " and slammed my locker shut. " you feeling alright dude, the fight last night was pretty intense." Tucker said " yeah you alright? Did you bandage your gash and take your pills" Sam asked seriously "yes mother" I said to her only to make her eyes roll. The bell rung and we went to home room with mr. Lancer, we walked in and I tripped over my own foot and fell to the ground. " Ha get up fen-turd you wimp" dash yelled at me I just ignored him and sat down for long day ahead to begin.

Finally the last bell had rung and the students flooded the doors in a rush to get out of the school so the group headed to nasty burger " so what are we doing today I heard there's a new horror movie coming out tonight we should see it. I had suggested, the look on Sam and Tucker's face explained that we were definitely going to see the movie. I laughed at the expressions on their faces as we walked out the door.

Once again around one in the morning my ghost sense went off and I was pissed, two hours ago I had to wake up to fight the box ghost so this better be good. I flew out my window and looked around and out of nowhere i had heard " I am not here to fight you Daniel but I've come to warn you I have not forgotten about last week" he said angrily
" and you will pay a much greater price tomorrow then I could ever do to hurt you in one night. " he laughed very creepily and before I could respond to what he had said he disappeared into the night. I flopped down onto my bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow although I was sleeping all I could think about in my mind was Vlad's warning he had told me. Then after a while everything just blacked out.

The next morning at school I told Sam and tucker about what had happened last night and we all agreed that whatever vlad was planning would be very bad. The bell had rang and we all headed to home room. The morning had past by like a blur with the trio jumping a every little noise they heard and the class wondered what was up. Finally lunch had come we all sat at our usual table and began to talk. " So anything happen in your classes" I had asked "no but my class noticed I was a bit jumpy " Sam replied we looked around and strangely found some people were staring at them, then tucker said "we should be more careful people are starting to thing something is wrong and we can't let that happen" he said as he was typing something in his PDA like usual. Lunch was over so we headed to mr. Lancers English class. As we sat down mr lancer said we were going to watch an important news cast that just aired fifteen minutes ago, as the room silenced something started to feel not right as the video started. " We have just been informed by a random citizen that our famous ghost hunting superhero Danny phantom is a Halfa which basically means our hero is half human half ghost. Back to you Natalie. " then just like that the screen went black. In a matter of seconds the whole class burst out talking about who the ghost boy might be then I turned back to tucker and Sam and sure enough their faces were pale and white in shock, then Sam spoke up " thins is what vlad had warned us about." She had Said and no one protested. At that moment I felt right on the verge of a panic attack but Sam and tucker calmed me before anything was done. The trio were sitting on Danny's bed in silence as they just told jazz what had happened and she looked mad, angry, happy, sad, and scared for not only her brother by for her Sam and tucker too she did not think vlad would go this low but considering what had happened the week before.... she started to calm after she had processed all the info the trio had given her she finally came to her senses took a deep breath and said "now what do we do?"
