The Honogakure, known by Unovan historians as the Flare Sword, was the first of the seven swords created by Arceus. The Alpha Pokemon based the sword of the concept of a raging flame, which ended up becoming the Pokemon Entei, many years before the destruction of Brass Tower. Entei was given the name Ignazio.
However, along with the fires of the Pokemon, Ignazio himself proved to be quite the hothead, with an overprotective and stubborn personality, and a love for battles, which continually annoyed Arceus in the time the god needed to recover. It was also discovered that the sword Pokemon possessed a great deal of power, which made Ignazio even more excited about battling. However, it wasn't long before Arceus created a second sword.
The first wielder of the Honogakure was a powerful warrior, and known as, well, the Warrior in tales about the legendary swords, and one of seven wielders who shaped the world.
