Alfred wakes up startled from a dream he was just having. It was about Robbie doing something violent that he didn't even want to think about at the moment. The noodle-haired surgeon finds he had never changed into his pyjamas and had been spending the night in his scrubs. The teal clothes are wrinkled and sweaty from the night. The cute man gets his glasses form the windowsill next to him and goes for a small walk around his apartment. The morning's light on all his possessions calms him until he can finally convince himself that what he had just experienced was only a nightmare. He walks over to his fax machine and, forgetting about his new potential boyfriend from the night before, becomes surprised when he finds a paper printed out the end. He picks it up and is slightly annoyed at himself for not remembering that other guy who cared about him enough to exchange numbers.
His eyes light up as he reads the first words.
"From the desk of [y/n], [your address].
Greetings, babe. The idea of your face has been keeping me up all night. I hope you've been having a better time since we met, and I'm sure once we meet again your day will be made.
-Your new Senpai ;)))"
Al giggles to himself, running his fingers along his short moustache. He can't contain his excitement for the date. He starts up the fax and pulls the chair out, eager to type out some of his feelings onto the gray plastic keyboard. The light goes on and he types in your fax number. His fingers skip across the off-white keys like happy children on a playground.
"Dear [y/n], I'm free today." He so badly wants to write more, but the taunting words of past friends and classmates hold back his cute, gay feelings for this new dude.
The fax machine starts printing a minute later. Al gets all smiley and does a cartwheel across the room, almost running into his accordion in excitement.
"YEEEEEEEEEaH BUDDYYYY! How about we go to Chuck E Cheese?"
Alfred giggles to himself at your hilarious request. He types back again. "Hahaha, I'd love to. It's better than the discotheque where we couldn't hear ourselves talk! Does 6PM sound good?"
You are surprised he takes your joke offer. "Yeah" is all you can manage to write back. When you first traveled back to the 80s, you never thought you'd come to find a beautiful guy like this on the first day. Especially such a guy who is also queer.
