A shot in the dark.
A past, lost in space.
Where do I start?
The past, and the chase.
You hunted me down
Like a wolf, a predator.
I felt like a deer in your lights.
You loved me and I froze in time,
Hungry for that flesh of mine.
But I can't compete with a she-wolf, who has brought me to my knees
What do you see in those yellow eyes?
'Cause I'm falling to pieces,
I awoke in a hospital room. I couldn't open my eyes, but I could smell the horrible odor of medicine. It made me sick.
I tried to pry my eyes open, but every time I did they would flutter closed again. I pulled my hand up to my face. A plastic oxygen thing was over my mouth and nose giving me air.
Then it all came back.
The abandoned pack members in the well. Being a fox. The sickening crunch as my Mother's head hit the ground. The oak tree fight with the Beta...
Wait, Ann and Leo were there... Where were they now? Injured? Dead? Worse? I moved to get up, and gasped when pain shot up my back.
"She's awake!" I heard a female voice say.
"Okay, I'll go get the doctor." That one was male.
I opened my mouth, but my voice was small and weak. "Who's there?" I asked nervously.
The door opened and closed. "She's awake? Oh! Lidya! Sweetheart, I'm so sorry!" I knew that voice. Who was it?
"Mum!" I said thrusting my eyes open to see a white room full of people.
"Whoa." I said, not loud enough for them to heard. A couple guys in the room chuckled. I raised a eyebrow at them. They immediately shut up. I smirked at them. They must be wolves.
I turned to my mother. "What's going on?" What did she know?
"Oh, these boys said they were hiking and found you in the woods..." She sniffed. "They said it looked like you'd been attacked by animals!" She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
I'm falling to pieces
I'm falling to pieces
I'm falling to pieces
Falling to pieces
Did she lie in wait?
Was I bait to pull you in?
The thrill of the kill
You feel, is a sin.
I lay with the wolves
Alone, it seems,
I thought I was part of you.
You loved me and I froze in time
Hungry for that flesh of mine
But I can't compete with the she-wolf, who has brought me to my knees
What do you see in those yellow eyes?
'Cause I'm falling to pieces

The Old Well
WerewolfThe old well was never very interesting. It was just, well, the well. But, it was about to be the start of something much more.
