Sunset

••Third Person POV••
The next day, after the whole "kiss thing" everything seemed pretty normal. Mira was the only one who knew about it, but sadly, Natsu and Lucy weren't dating yet. Natsu invited Lucy to go walking around magnolia with him and she agreed to go with him.

They walked all around, looking for somewhat exciting things to do. They went to arcades, an outdoor mall, bookstores, and different food places because you know, typical Natsu likes to eat a lot.

Everyone once and while would recognize them and ask to take "couples" pictures of them. They had to pose in different ways under Gazebos and Bush archways, surrounded by flowers. Which some of those people were secretly Sorcerer Weekly photographers.

Well of course Natsu and Lucy didn't know that.

They went to the town fair, Natsu quivering in fear at the roller coasters, and Lucy just kinda sweat dropped.

"L-Luce.. please t-tell me we don't have to r-ride those.. transportation carts.." Natsu stuttered and covered his mouth, feeling a little sick just by looking at the different rides.

"Natsu were not going to ride those, we'll do things that catch your interest since we have mainly been shopping for me all day."

"Are you sure, Luce?" Natsu replied.

"Positive." Lucy answered back.

Natsu smiled his signature grin. "Alright." Natsu took Lucy's small gentle hand into his and walked at a steady pace towards a semi-big forest.

"Eh..? Natsu where are you taking me??" Lucy asked with a concerned and excited tone.

Natsu looked back at Lucy and showed a wide toothy grin. "You'll see." Is all Natsu said to her as he kept walking towards the forest.

They made it to the forest and Natsu walked through the trees which arched overhead. It was a very beautiful and magnificent place, at least that's what Lucy thought.

What made Lucy curious the most is why would Natsu take her to a place like this? Why not take someone else like his childhood friend Lisanna? Maybe they've already been here together before.

Lucy got her hopes up a little too much maybe. She thought it would've been special since Natsu might have taken her there because she was the first one to go there or something like that. But, that wasn't the case.

They arrived at their destination.

It was a ledge, a ledge arching over an outstretched ocean.

The view was beautiful as it smelled of pine trees/palm trees and ocean water.

Lucy's eyes widened in surprise. Never had she seen such a beautiful and extraordinary place like this.

"Natsu..." Lucy mumbled out, covering her mouth with her hands slightly after.

"It's beautiful, isn't it Luce?" Natsu whispered to her, resting his chin on her shoulder gently.

"Yeah..." Lucy nodded her head in response, speaking as she did.

Lucy finally spoke up, sort of nervous at the same time. "Natsu.. have you taken anyone else here before?" Lucy tilts her head gently pushing Natsu off as she turns around to face him.

Natsu cocked his head in response, then spoke up also, while rubbing his arm shyly. "Actually... no I haven't.. you're the first person.."

"REALLY?!" Lucy said, more like yelled out in surprise.

Natsu nodded, a tint of blush on his cheeks.

Lucy looked down at smiled at her feet. "I thought you would've taken Lisanna here before.. Because you like her.. right?" Lucy muttered while looking at her feet.

Natsu bursted out laughing. "Of course not Lucy! Me and Lisanna may have had something in the past but we're just friends now! She's like a little sister to me..." Natsu smiled and placed a finger under Lucy's chin, tilting her head up so her eyes met his.

"But i do like someone Lucy.." Natsu whispered into her right her, sending chills down her spine.

"W-Who..?" Lucy stuttered slightly.

"You~" Natsu whispered into her ear again.

Lucy's eyes widened in surprise. Natsu liked... her?!?!?!

Lucy took a few steps back, more like a lot and almost fell of the edge but Natsu caught her.

"Lucy! You klutz be more careful.." Natsu said still embarrassed to what he confessed before.

Did Lucy like the fire dragon back? They had been partners for a while now and she had been developing slight feelings for him.

Natsu looked out in the distance and turned Lucy around, plopping her on the ground in a sitting position. Natsu sat a few centimeters away from her.

"Look Luce... the sun is setting." Natsu smiled and pointed out to the horizon.

Once again Lucy's eyes went wide. "It's beautiful.. Thank you Natsu for taking me out here.. it's been a really fun day.." She smiled sweetly and scooted closer to Natsu in the process.

Lucy forced Natsu's arm around her.

"I like you too.. Natsu.." Lucy mumbled and blinked slowly.

Natsu slyly smiled and looked into her eyes. Lucy looked back.

They both leaned in, until their noses were touching.

Suddenly a noise was heard in the woods..
