After school we all walked to my house. When we got there we all ran into the kitchen. Just the usual day. I was waiting for my dad to get home so I could borrow the car so we had a ride to the mall. It wasn't to long of a wait since my dad usually gets home about twenty minutes after I do. We were all sitting at the counter eating pizza rolls when my dad walked in. "Dad, we need more pizza rolls. Some one ate them all." I said popping one in my mouth smiling. "Okay well I'm going shopping tomorrow unless y'all want to do it." Did I mention we were country. Out of all of us I had the worst southern accent. "If we can get whatever we want." I said grinning at him. "Sure." I hoped up and hugged him "Oh I need the keys." He tossed them to me. "Thank you daddy." We all headed out to the car. I was driving, Austin in the front seat, and the rest in the back. Sarah was sitting on Alex's lap since there wasn't that much room. I turned on the radio and What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction was on. I turned it up louder and we were all singing along. When we pulled up to the mall we were in fits of laughter. We got out and walked in. I grabbed Austin's hand pulling him toward a shoe store. "Where are we going" we walked inside. "I need new shoes." I said walking over to some slick purple ones. Austin seen me and ran over grabbing them before me. Austin was the one person who I didn't mind matching with. Half our clothes matched and I basically had every pair of shoes Austin had. "What do you think of these." He said smirking at me holding them in front of my face. "Ew. They're ugly. Here let me have them" I reached out for them. "Nope." He said popping the 'p'. I pouted and he nudged me."Aww. You know you're going to get them too. When do I ever get shoes and you don't get a pair." I smiled. "Never." We ended up getting the shoes. "Austin you didn't have to buy them for me. I have my own money." I said as he took my bag and carried it. I went to reach for it and he snatched it back. "It's your birthday soon I will buy your stuff and carry your bags." I forgot all about my birthday. It was next Saturday and I honestly didn't want to think about it. Yeah I was throwing a party I do every year but it just wasn't going to be the same.  We all walked to the food court and grabbed something to eat. When we finished me and Sarah wanted to run to Hot Topic, Claire's and Journey's before we left. We separated from the boys and headed toward Hot Topic. The whole way there I felt as if I was being watched I kept turning back but there was no one. I finally shook it off when someone grabbed me. I screamed and looked behind me. It was the boys. I grabbed my chest and tried calming down my breathing. I looked at Austin who was laughing so hard. I punched him in the arm. "Fuck, you could have gave me a heart attack." I said with a pout on my face. "I'm sorry Amber." He hugged me. "Whatever lets just hurry up I'm getting tir...." I trailed off when I seen Trevor smiling at me from across the store. "Amber, Hello Amber you okay." I snapped out of it. "Hm. Yea I'm f-fine can we just go home. I-I'm not feel-feeling well." I never took my eyes off him as he acted as if nothing happened between us. Soon Trevor was walking over to us. "Hey Ambs. You still having a party Saturday." I didn't like when he called me that. I know everyone did but it just sounded wrong coming from him. "N-no" He smirked. "Where is at this year. "The beach but you're not invited." I said sternly. It just came out of me like a sudden boost of energy. "Everyone's invited remember Party of the Year." He lifted up my chin and I pulled away. "Aw. Are we being feisty. Well I wish you would have been like this when we were dating." He grabbed my cheek but this time Zach pushed him away from me. Zach was like an older brother. He's always been there, "Leave now she doesn't want to talk to you." He said standing in front of me. "And I care why." Soon the other boys were in front of me too. "Whatever" I heard him say as he walked away. They turned around and looked at me. I guess I hadn't realized I begun crying because Zach pulled me into a hug and wiped my face. "Don't worry, It's going to be fine." I pulled out of his grasp and nodded. We finished our shopping and went back to my house for movies and snacks. It wasn't unusual for the guys to stay at my house. We made pallets in the attic/den. When we moved in I took the space in the attic and turned it into a den for my friends and me. I was curled up with Austin and soon fell asleep in his arms. PERFECT NIGHT! I liked Austin but I knew he didn't feel the same. So I took any opportunity I got to be next to him.
