Chapter 1 : New student

[In 2-B classroom, Teitan High School]

Everybody in the class were busy with their own activities. Some of them were chatting to each others and some of them just reading or studying by themselves. Ran, who was gazing at the outside view suddenly being surprised by Sonoko, her best friend.

Sonoko: Ran!!!

Ran: Mou, Sonoko! You shocked me...

Sonoko: Did I? Gomen, ne? Anyway, what were you thinking about just now? Is it your husband? I know that you really miss him, ne, Ran? (raising one of her eyebrows while grinning at Ran)

Ran: Sonoko!! He is not my husband!! Well, I did miss him a bit...(blushing)

Sonoko: See...you admit it...(grinning)

Ran: It not what like you think, Sonoko...(blushing heavily)

While both of them were chatting to each other happily, suddenly Sera appear between of them with her usual grin. They were quite shocked with her appearance there for suddenly.

Sera: Ohayo, Ran-chan! Sonoko-chan!

Ran: Sera-chan!! You shocked both of us...

Sera: Gomen, ne? Anyway, did you hear about new student that will enter our class later?

Sonoko: Seriously!? Does it a boy?

Sera: Err...about the gender...I really don't know this new student a boy or a girl...gomen...(scratching her head with grinning)

Ran: Daijobu, Sera-chan...just ignored what Sonoko asked to you just now, ne?

Suddenly, their sensei enter the classroom with someone behind him. Everybody in the class start to whisper to each other about it.

Sensei: Ohayo, minna-san...today, we have a new friend here from Ekoda will join you in this class...so, I hope all of you will be nice with him...Kuroba-san, please introduce yourself to everyone...

Then, the guy who followed their sensei just now, walk in the classroom and stand in front of them with a grin. Whenever they look at his face, they make the same face. A shock kind of face.

Sonoko: Shi-Shinichi!! What are you doing there!? Did you get your head dump in the water?

Sonoko standing from her place and shout at the new student. That guy quite shock with her reaction towards him but still keep his poker face. He just smile at Sonoko with his usual grin.

Ran: Sonoko...you embarrassing yourself...please sit down...

Sonoko, who was in shock just realised what does she done there and quickly sit down at her chair without any words.

Kaito: Ohayo, minna-san! Before all of you mistaken with that Shinichi guy like our miss here just now, I will like to introduce myself appropriately...my name is Kuroba Kaito...I don't like formalities, so, you can call me Kaito if you would...yoroshiku onegai shimasu...
