By the time I got back later that day, snow was pelting the house. As soon as I closed the door behind me, the two boys came up to me quickly.

"We've almost got all the decorations up!" Ghost cheered.

Johnny nodded, "All that's left is the star."

I smiled, holding something secretly in my jacket, "Go for it guys. I'll be in in a minute."

"But we want you to put the tree topper on," Johnny took my hand.

Shoot... I guess I could hold this in my jacket a little longer. "Okay. Let's do this!"

Putting the star on the Christmas tree for the first time felt amazing! Especially sitting on Johnny's shoulders. I wasn't sure I could have been any prouder of myself.

He gave me a bit of a look afterwards, "It might have been easier using your wings..."

"Oops." I quickly formed a lie. "I guess I'm just not use to not having to hide them." Well, it wasn't a total lie. I excused myself to our room where I unloaded the bundle in my jacket, hid it, then took off my jacket to go sit comfortably with the guys on the couch. Looked like I was going to be working all night.
