⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Do I look good?" I asked, making a quick turn on my heel. Maddie smiled and came up to me, buttoning up the vest of my suit. "Chloe will love it" She said, nodding at me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Maddie stared at me and I noticed how her eyes started to water. "You two are so beautiful together" She sniffed, and with that a single tear escaped her ocean blue eyes. "I wish one day I'll be able to have a wedding like yours" She said, smiling. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But then her smile faded and she covered her face in her hands, causing me to furrow my eyebrows and approach her. I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a hug, Maddie became my best friend after all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I heard everyone gasp in awe and I turned around slowly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀There she was, Chloe, my Chloe... She slowly walked the long aisle with Maddie by her side, holding a beautiful bouquet of white flowers in her hand. She smiled at me and I was probably smiling back like a total fool. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Ricky," Chloe spoke, "I remember my first impression of you as well," she said, laughing a little bit, "you woke me up because you were too loud, and you scared the shit out of me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "But you know..." She said, biting her lip, "it's not about first impressions, it's about learning things about and from each other." She said, "you, Ricky, learned me how to cope with loss, and you learned me how to love you, and I'm so thankful for that" She said. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Then may I ask the maid- and man of honor to come and bring the rings?" The priest asked. Chloe and I looked at each other, and then everyone gasped. We turned our heads and we saw how Maddie came up to the front, and in the back of the church, someone stood up as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"J- Josh?" I asked, and a big smile popped up on Chloe and I's faces. "You don't think I would let you two marry without your man of honor? " He chuckled as he walked up to us, and winked at Maddie, whose cheeks were turning bright red. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
