Michael survived the shock Zeus gave him after Cell 25 in book 1 Why couldn't he have survived getting shocked by lightning? He probably just absorbed it like he did with Zeus, I mean Zeus is just as powerful and a bolt of lighting right? So why couldn't he have survived it? And it's not like anyone actually searched for Michael after the explosion so he's probably still alive just hidden. The only thing is he was up so high and that would be almost impossible to survive, unless the lighting made him so powerful that he was able to survive it. Zeus' blast made him more powerful so this probably did too and that's how he survived. This is my theory.
