The night wind welcomed me. The cold white snow crunching under my boots. The moon was full. I looked down into the fields 'Yep just what I was expecting.' I thought to myself. The sheep got out again. I went down off my front step and let my dog, Sparky off his chain. "Ok my little buddy go get 'em." I said letting him go and watching in awe as the three legged animal effortlessly rounded up the animals. I looked down at my own foot wrapped up from my own stupidity. 'poor Sparky.' I thought to myself. I found him in a ditch with his right front paw stuck in a fire ant hole. The aggressive ants ate away at the flesh of his paw leaving only bone and small bits of rotton flesh on his limb. After I found him he was rushed to the vet and he had to have his entire leg amputated. I snaped to attention as Sparky barked for me to open the gate I walked down and opened it. We walked back to the house Sparky went over to his chain I grabbed his collar and pulled him up to my to my room. I let him go and he jumped into my bed. " My Spoiled little three legged wonder."
