The little boy needed some sort of a guardian while his mother, being the only parent, had to work. He was too young to be taking responsibilities for himself. All she wanted was the safe keeping of her only son till she got back, spending the time without worrying about her lovable, seven year old son being in rightful hands.
"Thank you so much and sorry for the last minute call. Good bye, see you then." His mother, Anne spoke through the phone, hanging up the line seconds later, with a smile that showed she surely was relieved about something.
"Harry, I've got a babysitter arranged for you. He's gonna be coming in three hours." Anne called this to Harry who was sitting with a grumpy expression across the living room on a couch, watching his favourite movie. He was only seven, he knew he could not be able to do anything, even if he wanted to.
"Harry, I said something. Were you even listening to me?" His mother walked towards him, standing in between him and the television set.
"Mum I'm watching tv." He whined, wanting his mum to step out of his sight.
"Harry, listen, don't make this hard for me."
"I don't want a babysitter! I'm not a baby!" Harry exclaimed, jumping right to the point that was making him angry.
"You're only seven, little mister. And I need to be sure that you're safe when I'm out." Anne tried to control her anger towards the stubborn child sitting in front of her.
"I told you I'm not a baby anymore. I don't like babysitters. They are bossy and think of themselves as big kings when they're not. I don't like them. They're all stupid." Each word pouring out of his little seven year old mouth was how the little boy actually felt.
"Harry, I promise, this time you'll not complain. Please. Do this for me, hmm?" Anne tried reasoning the boy to get him to accept the babysitter at whatever the cost.
"I'm going to sleep." With that the young boy marched up to his room, closing the door behind him and jumping on to his bed, drifting to his short slumber.

"Thank you so much for coming. Come on inside." Anne closed the door behind after the newly hired babysitter walked inside the house that was new to him. He examined the passage he was walking through as he was lead to the living room by Anne.
"You can have anything from the fridge if you're hungry. Emergency numbers are on the fridge so contact me if anything happens without hesitation. Harry is upstairs sleeping in his room, he'll wake up shortly. I'd stay and introduce you to him but I'm in a rush." Anne rambled on as she was gathering important stuff for the urgent meeting arranged, causing the new babysitter to chuckle lightly at her actions. "Make yourself at home, son. I'll be on my way now. Take care, goodbye."
"Bye." The was the first time the babysitter ever said anything after entering this new house.
He examined the new environment, cursing his mother for putting him up to such a work. But he needed the money, so he had to agree to the job. He thought of looking around the house, which was what he did.
As he slumped on the sofa and turned on the television searching for something good to watch, he heard small footsteps coming from the stairs. He curiously tried peeking at the stairs when he saw a little boy climbing down sleepily, clutching what looked like a stuffed Woody from Toy Story. He was taking each step, after putting both off those tiny feet on a step. When he finally reached the floor, he looked around the room in search for something that he knew was there but didn't want it to be. The babysitter.
