That beautiful peasant girl took me home with her, feeding me, bathing me, gave me a place to sleep and dream of my prince. And in that dream, my prince fell in love with the peasant girl..
After stopping at my house for me to switch out my jacket, we went straight to the lake. The only vehicle we saw was an old worn out, two door Honda that was in serious need of a paint job. "Is that Josh's car?" Jace scrunched his nose at it as he parked several spaces away.
"Yup. I think it was a gift or something."
"Well he needs the receipt so he can take it back for a refund." I smacked him on the arm as we approached it but looking inside, there was no Josh. "Huh. He said he would wait in it.."
"Oh wait, I see him." Jace turned me and pointed to a table closer to the lake with someone occupying it.
"Are you sure that's him?"
"No but it doesn't hurt to find out." And before I could do anything, Jace takes off running.
"Jace! Come back! You can't just do things like that!" I yelled, running after him myself.
We make it to the table and sure enough, it was Josh. He looked a little too excited about seeing Jace. "Hey! You guys showed up! I was afraid you ditched me."
"That was the plan but Willow voted against it."
"Jace.."
"What? It was a joke..."
"Your jokes are rude."
Josh laughs. "Its fine, Will. I like his jokes."
"Finally! At least SOMEONE does UNLIKE my BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD."
"Who is this bestest friend you keep mentioning?" I ask Jace.
Jace clutched his chest. "My heart! You have officially shattered it!"
"Oh be quiet. You don't have a heart to shatter."
Josh whispered "Ouch.." as Jace threw himself from his seat and onto the ground, fake crying.
"My love! Not only refusing my heart but assuming I don't have such thing!"
"I hope you know you're gonna have grass and dirt stains on your jacket."
He shoots up and slides back onto his seat, smoothly enough that he slid and wrapped his arm around my waist and dipped me. "Ah mon cheri, you love the green, non?"
I blushed. Damn him taking that French class... "Oh shit, Jace. That was smooth as fuck." Josh commented.
Jace chuckled and let me go, scooting back to his original spot. "Yeah I know."
I decided to exclude myself from the conversation and just listened. "If you can be that smooth, why haven't you dated anyone?"
"Haha well, I don't really want to date. Besides, I have to look out for my Willow over here." I blushed again.
"Okay then, why aren't you two dating?"
"Because Willow doesn't realize he's gay for me."
"Jace.." I warned.
"What? It's true. You love me but you just don't want to admit it."
"Ugh.." I excused myself again and laid my head on the cold concrete table.
"Haha. So if Willow was willing, you would definitely date him."
"Hell yeah. I tell him all the time but he always rejects me. I try to complement him and stuff like how he has a nice butt but he just gets mad."
