It's been a few days, and it's not that bad if you didn't count the hard rice and him always asking the same questions, day after day.

At some point Han Seong wanted to go and play at the beach, so we headed off to the nearest beach and settled down there.

It was quite peaceful there, making me relax a bit under the warm sun.

"Yoon Gi why did your mom go, especially without you?" He started a conversation

"I already told you, she was stressed and Seo Eun, me and Han Seong came up with the idea." I repeated the same answers as I had done for the past few days.

"Yeah, you already said that a few times, but when is she coming back?" He continued

I thought about it again. I remembered that mom never told me and my brother when exactly she would be back. As I remembered, the only ones she told it to was See Eun and Mari.

Scared that he would yell at me like last time when I said that I didn't know, I tried to
rephrase the answer.

"In a few days, she didn't say exactly when to me, but soon."

"Are you telling me the truth, Yoon Gi?" He said as his look hardened.

"Yes, I am." I defended myself

"Yoon Gi you liar!" He yelled at me. He then headed down to my brother to play with him.

I felt sad and hurt by those words, so I closed my eyes and tried not to think about anything for the next hour.

When we got back to the apartment, I just wanted to throw myself on the bed and I was ready to vanish from this place.
My thoughts were all around the place, making me feel uneasy. My mind focused on one specific thought that had been on my mind for awhile.
What could go so wrong? But why am I whining about such a simple thing, other people have it much harder than I do now.

Maybe he was right? Maybe I was a liar. How selfish could I get before I realised?
No, he is right. I'm not just lying to others but to myself and my family.
What have I done?! You got not just yourself but also your family into trouble.

Stop! Ugh, just get to sleep.
I rolled over on my bed, and started to cry myself to sleep.
