the riddler's girl

I sat up on my bed and stretched my arms I looked at my room it was full of green and black I smiled and walked over to my closet and pulled out a green shirt with a black question mark on Breast and some green jeans. I looked in the mirror and smiled my black hair barley touched my shoulder and the clothes went perfect together I put on my green converse, grabbed my phone and ran out the door. (today is Gona be different I can tell). I hoped on my bike and headed to the mall. I walked in and texted my friend Rose

[Hey rose im at the mall now riddle me this we're are you?] I sent a few seconds later she replied

[turn around.]

I spun around and was hugged

"you are such a riddler fan I mean you are basically free advertisement." Rose said looking at me top to bottom. "I guess today is your lucky day then." I heard rose whisper

"what was that?"I said

"oh nothing come one let's go we don't have much time." Rose said and then she dragged me off to the food Court

"time for what?" I said once we got there

"well you already know about my mom...poison ivy and how I am lady ivy...well I talked to the riddler and-" rose was cut off suddenly the light shut of in the building and the turned back on but they were green now.

"Rose." I looked over to we're she was but she was gone every ealse one froze in fear. Suddenly the speakers of the mall turned on.

"hello everyone this is none other that the riddler here looking for a cretin someone. A young woman by the name of Eve Newman. If you are not her sit on the ground." (that is my name so I guess this is what rose was going to tell me) the riddlers henchmen came out and everyone but me sat down. One of the henchmen walked up to me.

"come with us." He said I nodded and followed we walked into a security room I could see someones silhouette standing infront of the security screens I knew who it was I heard the henchmen walk out of the room and close the door.

"so your eve?" The riddler said as he walked over to me holding his cane

"yes..." I replied(wow he is awsome)

"nice outfit it screams riddler." He said walking around me and then back over to a microphone in front of the screens and pushed a button. "ok everyone. Eve here is going to answer five riddles. For everyone she answers wrong two people will die if she answers them right no one gets hurt. Eve are you ready?" He asked me

"yes im ready." I answered he left the microphone on and walked over to me

"first riddle. What has neither flesh,bones, not mail yet has four fingers and a thumb?"he asked me

"a glove."I said instantly he smiled

"correct...that one was easy. Next riddle. The more you take away, the larger it grows. What is it?" He asked me with a smirk

"that's easy a hole." I said with a smile he turned away from me and held his cane behind his back with both hands

"correct. Time for riddle number three. How do you divide seventeen apples among sixteen people?" He said without turning around

"make applesauce." I replied he spun around and looked at me for a second and then covered the microphone with one hand

"your not cheating are you?" He said

"nope I don't need to cheat I love riddles." I replied he uncovered his hand from the microphone

"correct. Riddle number four. There are three men in a boat with four cigarettes but no matches. How do they manage to smoke?" He asked me a little bit irritated.

"Hmmmm oh I know this! They throw one cigarette overboard and make the boat a cigarette lighter....that's more of a joke than a riddle if you ask me." I stated he rolled.his eyes

"correct.....okay last riddle. How much dirt is in a hole three acres square and 200 feet deep?" he asked me with a smile (he probably thinks I don't know the answer..I hate burst his bubble)

"none,because it's a hole." I said proudly

"correct. We're leaving boys."the riddler said before turning off the microphone. "eve did rose tell you about are agreement?" I shook my head he smiled and walked over to me. "if you answered all my riddles I would give you the opportunity to join me....so what do you say?" He walked over to me and pulled me to him by my waist making my face fluster. "I know you have a thing for me. Plus you live on your own you are 19 years old. Your parents died when you we're 18 and you are a only child you have no other relatives and you are living off what your parents left you....there money will run dry and I wouldn't mind taking care of a pretty girl such as yourself as long as she is smart and you my dear are smart." As he talked I realized this was a dream come true.

"yes....yes I will join you."
