8. Crazy Romance

"Diana!" Liam stormed into the office making her and Cole to quickly pull away ftom each other, feeling awkward liam cleared his throat,

"Cole, why did you do that?" Liam questioned quietly.

"Do what?" Cole frowned

"This" liam passed his samsung tablet to both of them. Diana eyes bulged,
surprise quickly turning to fury, "did you do this?" she seethed quietly.

"of course not! Can't you see this affects my reputation as well!"

"you were the one who carried me through the stairs yesterday, so how did they get this picture" she asked confused looking at the tabloid on the screen with the headline,

Pictures of both of them at the stairwell in the hotel was  taken from strangely intimate angles.

"Not only that" Liam said as he collected the tablet clicked on the screen and gave them back, among the comments on the news was a picture of them pressed to each other on the office glass wall taken from outside , "Bloody hell! This was just nah..." she trailed off blushing.

"Diana, you are now a public figure, your each and every move will be monitored with a magnifying glass, you have to be careful of your actions, you should know that Cole" liam turned giving him a dirty look,

"nothing happened! we were fighting"  Diana said defensively.

"I don't know that, the public doesn't know that and the pictures says otherwise, my point is be careful" Liam said as he collected his tablet while Diana's head was down with embarrassment.

"so what are we going to do?" she asked as she shuffled her shoe on the floor.

"I'll take care of it but.. please! don't give me trouble, be careful in public"

"Isn't it your job to get her out of those 'troubles', it's what you are paid for" Cole said raising an eyebrow.

Liam closed his eyes and sighed keeping his temper in check before opening it and giving Cole a tight smile,

"Yes, you're right, i must have forgotten for a moment"

"I'm really sorry Liam, I'll be careful not to trouble you so much" Diana quickly said sensing the tension in the room.

Liam turned to her and gave a soft smile, "Thank you" he said quietly and left the office.

Diana turned to Cole, "soo.."
"Like i said before Miss Diana, i decline the position you gave me"

Diana's jaw dropped, "after... what of the deal?"

"I'll think about it" he said and left the office.

Jason and Betty sat eating their respective lunch at Pinky's while trying to decipher their best friends behavior,

"Dee doesn't miss a class, not even when she's sick" Betty said furrowing her brows as she took a healthy bite of her sandwich.

"I know, remember that time in first year when she was so sick and almost puked in class.." Jason kept quiet when he saw the scathing look Betty gave him,

"what!"

"Can you please refrain from saying the p word while I eat"

"what.. what p word? Pu.." he stopped as he got another glare,

"I'm eating too and I'm not disgusted"

"Every one is different dummy! Now let's get back to the topic of discussion" The door to the joint opened and her expression soured,
