PROLOGUE

Goosebumps was an average looking girl. She had an oval-cut face pure black eyes, wavy, black hair that reached mid-back . This is where her normalities stop. Her parents, having no other thoughts of a name, decided on Goosebumps, for when her skin touched theirs, their body would get goosebumps all over. She, however, had never experienced the phenomenon herself.

Because of her abnormal ability, she avoided physical contact of all kind. She just wanted to live a life as normal as possible.

She despised her name. She did not understand how two people could be so loving and yet so cruel. Why had her parents thought it a good idea to subject her to such a name. Because of its abnormal nature, she was bullied in school. People believed the name stemmed from some sort of disease that gave people goosebumps when they were near. For that reason alone, she didn't have any friends. Being a social pariah did not bother her too much as she had someone always waiting for her at home: Mr. Nicesum, her pet bear.

Luckily, this year was going to be different. This was her first year of high school. She had received a scholarship, thanks to her intelligence. She'd be getting to know people who actually might not know of her. Hopefully, she would be able to make friends. She believed this year might be just the change her life needed.
